  2. Do we? :-\
  3. Am i the only one here, who think the match Australia vs Denmark turned out quite well
  4. You guys are lucky, the import tax of a new car is 180% here, think about that !!........ Chris
  5. Chris, short of Christian Z, guess what
  6. No problem Pete, i will keep my big mouth shut, when you got a set for me, please PM me the total include shipping and i can PayPal you some founds along with my shipping adress. Cheers Chris
  7. I did a fair bit of reading my self, when i had to figure out the air horns for my engine, i can't remember ½ of it, what i remember is: 25-30 millimeter from bell mouth to filter. Stacks like Ramflo should be best. Total length from head to bell mouth is the most important. And bla. bla. bla. I ended up in doing my own design based on collected information from the net. Full radius bell mouth, 50 m.m. bore at bell mouth, camfering in at 30 degrees for best airflow ect. these are for 40 Dels and the picture is of my proto type. This is from when the mounting ears wasn't milled out, all i can say is they work very very well. Chris
  8. $991 + 82 in shipping to Denmark That will be 1073,- + 10% import duty = 1180.30 + 25% sales tax = $1475,- delivered in Denmark, sorry but i'm out. I just wonder how it can be they list them as being in a UK locationwhen they are not. Anyway, thanks for asking. Chris
  9. Go for it Gavin, i have a -66 1600 roadster, if there's anything you like to know about roadsters, shoot me a mail. The silver roadster, belong to Eddie Wu, SR20 powered, let me see if i can dig up some more and post it here. The goal i'm aiming for with my build is on the first photo below, the other photo is my frame at this stage. Chris
  10. Looking great Pete, can you put me up for a set please. If you want me to set up a European group buy, then let me know. Chris
  11. David, on Harringtons ebay listing, the item location is UK, can you ask if they stock some in the UK?, if so, i will be interested, up here i will be busted in tax if it's shipped from outside of EU Gilltech, ask them if they will make some overrides, i know they make some for the roadster. Chris
  12. Cheating my butt mate, no way, it's a dual 1.75 inch system, two small mufflers in the mittle and two hot dogs as you call them at the end. I made some tips of some 2.5 inch stainless, made some perforated pipe and put inside the tips. At idle and cruise the sound is moderate byt at WOT it get's LOUD, i wish i could find some small resonators to put in the back and then put the hot dogs in the middle, just to turn the sound down a bit, then it would be easier to here my triples growl
  13. Dimitri, i'm not trying to jack your thread, but i just uploaded a vid of my dual exhaust after having them tips made. Chris
  14. Hi guys, per Scotags recommadation i'm starting this thread. I am finally at the point where i got my 40 DHLA (no prefix) installed, it did take a little time, starting with ending off what Lynx started, i made some improvement to the crappy linkage they normally use, so when i finally got them carbys on, i found out that there was a needle valve missing and ine of the tabs that hold the float was broken, i repaired the lid and got a new needle valve, half way in the progress og making a cold air intake, i decided to use regular air filters due to the look, two weeks later i got them from the US, then i powered on my lathe and turned some stacks, all of this was put together during this weekend and i finally got my car home from the storage and the trip back home was the first real test drive. My tach has fault readings so i cant tell at what RPM range the car do what. When accelerating the car pulls hard to about 100 km/h in 2nd gear and then it just cut off, no more juice, it does the same i 3d gear, but it feels as it is at lower RPM, my best guess at this time is that it is leaning out and i need bigger mains. At cruise the car have a tendence to pop in the exhaust and also when i let go of the pedal it pops, why does it do that ? At idle the car runs pretty smooth but is spilling gas out of the exhaust, idle mixture screws is 3 turns out, the final mixture setting i not made so far, i like to get my hands on a color tune to do that. Engine is L26, running a NOS ZX dizzy with a Beru coil, advance is set at about 17 degrees at idle (800 RPM) jetting is as follow Aux venturi - 30 Main - 132 Air - 180 Emulsion tube - 7772.5 Idle jet - 45 Idle jet hoilder - 7850.1 Starter jet - 70 Starter emulsion - 7482.1 Pump jet - 40 Thinking about getting some 145 - 150 mains, any suggestions guys, let me know of your thoughts. Chris
  15. And if Dimitri don't grap the mirror, i would be interested, i also like to get a photo of your spoiler chrmeyer(at)live.dk Chris
