  1. I think thats one of the Cheapest in the range too, mine cost $350 but worth every cent.
  2. I've done it in my 260Z!
  3. Would one of these fit? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ASI-3-CORE-race-aluminum-radiator-Nissan-280Z-custom-/300456004044?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories
  4. My Fav one this year (Rev will like this) "Cursed be the ground for our sake, both thorn and thistles it should bring forth, for us. For out of the ground we were taken for the dust we are, and to the dust we shall return." I know it's not really topic related but Care Factor -10 Hey maybe we could do a care factor button too, Lol.
  5. Call it a Hobby related occupational hazard at best
  6. I just tried a Pennzoil as autobarn had no valvoline in stock so they gave it to me for the same price, i gotta say it's an improvment and i can tell the difference. They have discontinued production as it says if you google it.
  7. Better check that link Gav
  8. Welcome, now for me this has been a topic of much discussion as i did a S12+8 Conversion on another members car and i used the S12w on my car. I compared and measured the both and although some members tell me different, i think they are almost identical. It was suggested That the "W" stands for wide as in the distance where the rotor slides in is a different width but i had the two calipers together and they measured the same. They bolted up the same. They had about the same performance from what i could tell. I was told that if the brake pads wore down too far that the piston would pop out and i would have no brakes. I can tell you that this is not the case as i actually scrubbed out one side of the pads (which dusted up and wore down really quick) The pistons were fine. I'm going to shim them anyway but point being is the +8 was no different and if the pistons would pop out of the +8 then they should be shimmed too. I'll get off my Bum and get photos of the pair, then ill post them here.
  9. That's the ticket, great work with the Chassis Rails.
  10. These only took about a week to get here and at $170 they are $34 less expensive than VPW.
  11. Maybe the local Plumbing Hardware shop would be a better idea.
  12. I have one of those too (prefer it than any other design) There's pictures in my gallery. http://www.viczcar.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=131&pos=24 http://www.kameariusa.com/L6_IntakeMan.php
  13. Yea that'll work. So looks like you'll have to jet those Dellortos, get some duel fuel banjos and remove the original Alfa air cleaner studs. Should keep you busy. I've got a large amount of jets and the like for Dellortos. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,5919.msg51510.html#msg51510 Rev's got some of them but i can lend you some if you want to play around instead of spending Squillions on ebay. The stor below would have to be my favourite. http://stores.ebay.com/ALFA1750S-CARBURETORS-PARTS-STORE_DELLORTO-JETS_W0QQ_fsubZ1038951017QQ_sidZ14256877QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322
  14. I've bought and sold to the same guy, didn't find him the nicest person to deal with.Took a whole month to pay for items and you're not the first who's had problems with him. I think he trades under illusions of granduer when he buys stuff and the mark ups, wel Peee Ewww, they stink. But that said there's other dealers on ebay that do offer good service.
  15. +1
  16. The rubbers are not even noticable in the first picture, they hide right up in there and often have overspray on them. Next time i'm at Dales i'll take a picture of the hole it came out of.
  17. There are 4 points on the sump that require sealant, where the rear main cap bolts on and where the timing case joins. Give the sump a very good clean and keep the dust out of there. You could also check play and if you're fitting new bolts you can check condition of the bearings.
  18. Might be hard to do but i'd like to see all attending members bring something Zed or car related for the raffle and once you win something, your out of the draw. Giving is the Spirit of Christmas. Rev? What do you think?
  19. Fudge, i've seen people dropping off the kids to school and going to the supermarket for smokes. You pay more for a permit than Rego Rates and you should be able to use the car as a normal vechile, within reason!
  20. Know someone in the states? Triple Webers. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-240-260z-Triple-Weber-Carburetors-/320575102735?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories

  23. I went and pinched/borrowed one off dales parts car.
  24. I run a part time business, and no i'm not on the Dole!!!
