  3. Pretty happy with what I have found - yes some rust in front passenger and drivers side but pretty minor - I will cut it and plate - everything else is 100% solid.
  4. No - I was considering it but I just persevered, got a bit of a technique using a long screwdriver that seemed to work OK and then a light wire wheel and clean up with prepsol which removed any residue.
  5. FINALLY!! After 10 hours of chipping away sound deadener I've struck metal! A couple of small repairs and then a full interior coat of POR15! You gotta love some of that 70's metal pressing!!

  8. if I could get the right tradesman I'd begin a full resto shop for Jap imports where everything has a pictorial inventory and the customer is part of the build process from start to finish - guess I'm pipe dreaming!

  10. I agree with being careful and using some smarts but I refuse to live in fear of some idiot who thinks he can spin me. I've sold probably 30 cars in the last 5 years, some of them Zeds and have had a few smartasses but honestly it was all easy. Let's just all be realistic that this world is full of great people unfortunately peppered with a few morons, for them, I'll reserve the special Rev sermon where I beat the HELL out of them!
