    i contacted this guy several times after the last auction for $1000,we agreed on a price but as soon as we started talking about the help he could provide in interstate transport i never heard back from him,have sent emails as recently as last week caveat emptor unless you are in a position to pick it up

    just make sure you don't give out any passwords over the phone "to verify that they are speaking to the account holder" as this is another scam,always get a number/name and call them back so YOU can verify who you are talking to steve,i would call your financial institution to verify it is all kosher and your card is indeed cancelled

    ah RB20 down on torque compared to 3.0l cousin so it's not going to be turbod either?? seeing as you are going to so much trouble why not fit an rb25 or rb30,for the few extra dollars(potentially,although rb25NA are pretty cheap now) you will get significantly more performance and a better street motor in my opinion just curious not critical

    if the rb is going to be turbo i would stick with the 3.54, i have an rb30et in my 240z and find that the low weight of the car wasn't able to load up the 4.11's enough to make much boost in first,was much quicker taking off in second but that kinda defeats the purpose of a 5 speed :-\ i am running an MX7 box

    does the offset remain standard(apart from the difference in thickness of the 2 discs,ie 10-15mm)?what is the gap between the hub and the disc? much meat left on the pads? did you replace the bearings when you did the conversion? do the Z flexi lines fit the r32 calipers and if not are they included in the sale? what mods were required to fit the calipers up,welded bracket? cheers

    hey andrew, a friend of mine,mike r(have a look at his webpage http://www.bluevista.net.au/MikesRB26Z.html) has one of these but it's not for sale,i have my doubts whether they were common and whether anyone would part with one for less than 2 limbs what did the ebay one fetch? may be easier to get one fabricated,they don't appear too complicated paul ps still snowed in

    the price of alloy rads has come way down lately,be very suprised if you had to pay over $400 for one to suit the Z aluminium is much more efficient for cooling purposes and heat transfer,about 25% more also make sure you are running a thermostat,or a restrictor plate if not otherwise water may be flowing too fast to allow adequate heat exchange

    it sounds to me like the block is the common problem if you don't want to go to the trouble of line boring it just use another block....surely you couldn't be unlucky enough to have 2 that are out of alignment
