  1. I've seen you drive steve-o and I know what category you fall into hahaha
  2. ahhh perfect, you are the plan master Greg. Now just keep an eye on those neighbours, make sure there are no dodgy tents out the back :S So who's in?
  3. Might be a bit late on this but... http://forums.ctzcc.com/viewtopic.php?t=4114
  4. Looks cool! My vote would be to cover up the stock exhaust hole, but I tend to lean on the pretty sides of things not the practical
  5. ahhh i did think about your house Greg, it is ideal. I thought Steve's place was good cause it's north/central (it takes me an hour to get to your place). But your place has got plenty of parking, a nice big park and everyone who comes can pick something from your shed to take home! haha So plan atm, sunday arve BBQ at Greg's place out at strathpine. Now all we need is a suitbale date and attendee's
  6. haha well I think my neighborhood would be fine wit it. My topside neighbours regularly have sunday arve gatherings where 10-20 cars line our street. My bottom side neighbor owns 6 porches that he regularly parks out on the street, I'm sure he would be fine with it and would probably even come over for a squiz and a chat (he offered me a drive of his carrera in exchange for a drive of my 240z). But anyway I'm keen for Steve's house, my house or a public park or something....
  7. saw an orange 240z driving down park road in milton today, anyone here? Sounded pretty tough
  8. Steve and I were going to organise a bbq at his house, it's fairly central for everyone and it's a good street to park in. We were thinking a Sunday afternoon so it doesn't interfer with everyone's weekend. I know Steve's a bit busy with uni etc atm so I'll let him post when/if he wants to do it. I don't mind doing it at my house in St Lucia but I live on pretty big hill, there is parking out the front but I suppose it' just not that convenient.
  9. hahah yeah all of the old ads are pretty nuts. Lots of guys with moustaches and driving gloves. The number of the one in the ad actually shows up. looks like its number 2543
  10. i got kybs, lowered king springs and all new suspension rubbers for my 77 2+2 for about $1000 a few years back. Haven't got the car running yet so I can't tell you how they are :S Shocks: KYB (Kayaba) Gas Shock Absorber Excel-G Part No. 361002 Front Springs: King Springs (Formula Chassis Parts) Part No. KDFL-04 Haven't got the back springs part numebrs sorry
  11. i want that bike...
  12. Hi dat man. Ended up getting it done at Mendham Engineering down on the Ipswich Motorway. I'll find details when I get home from work. Was a bit more than I expected, maybe about $340 or something? Anyway I'll confirm all this. I'm still writing up my details on doing the transfer and making up a crossmember :S
  13. looks like this could turn out to be a good thread just for reference there is a thread over at hybridz about rebuilding the heater and vent mechanicals, thought it might tie in when it comes to refurbishing all the ducting etc... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=115259
  14. looking good nzeder! I think once you're done we should organise a club holiday to NZ to check it out
  15. oohhh i can visit it when I'm back in Gladstone congrats on the purchase
  16. there was a post that has since been deleted. It was from someone that said something like "your car looks great but I'm happy with mine". Then their signature had a link to refrigerators or some other dodgey online spam thing. Some kind moderator has removed it so... back to the car for sale
  17. ahhh man up and learn photoshop, I'm doing photoshop lessons for $50 an hour haha but really those do look nice, i especially like the middle 2 photoshop isn't that complicated if you have someone showing you the basics but if you are trying to teach yourself it can be a bit hard knowing where to start. if you don't want to go full dslr the canon g9 or g10 i think they are up to is a great camera with all the manual settings etc anyway good luck with it

oh weird, I didn't know any of this happened. I got an email reminder on the 7/8/09 from Ray about the event which seems strange if the club has pulled out?

Classic Japanese Show & Shine www.classicjapaneseshowandshine.com It's at a park in Strathpine on the 18th of October. Basically just a collection of Japanese cars, lots of cool old jap cars and quite a few newer jap cars that I'm not really interested in but each to their own. Lynton if you are following this are you going this year?

george? haha no if Greg wants to leave it it's fine. He may still has to attend events with these people and there aren't any positives that come from ripping on other people online. Sounds like they had a disagreement and Greg's keeping it between them which is fair enough. Just think of the positives, we now have Greg's Northside Wreckers on the VicZCar forums

i was thinking about it, i missed out last year. What was the story for you Greg? I imagine politics? It's a shame too considering it's so close to your place
