Lowering it will finish it off nicely. A previous member on this forum Zpeed had those wheels on his Zed, looked great but I always thought it would be ineteresting to push em out about 5mm witha spacer on each wheel to come closer to each guard. Do you know what offset they are? I'm guessing +10 or so! Sulio

Hi Brad, Welcome. I'm tipping most likely your after a 240z or a 260z. The 280z only came out in the US, we got the 280zx 2+2 which is a different car, body series S130 vs the older shape S30. L28's are commonly installed in the older 240's and 260's. Alot of people myself included pull all the efi equipment and run the older SU's or tipple carbs. Theres plenty of info in the forums here and lot of people ready to help so enjoy your reading... Cheers, Sulio PS keep a look out in the classifieds on the forums here, everyone posts what ever they find and it's usually scrutinised a little bit to help you -

ah Evan, I find Group Buys to messy. Especially when you get the fickle ones who pick the eyes out of the deal. arrrgh I say spend the extra 20 cents and just buy what ever you need....I have however e-mail this company to see if they will give Auszcar members a discount on their wares. cheers, Sulio -
Yep I've got about 7 on the confirmed list atm. I'm sure there's still many more to jump in. Sulio

good, noted. Justa reminder hand held UHF CB radios are a must for these trips, helps being able to communicate. Sulio

Goodo Lurch! Josh, Send me your e-mail address (and anybody else in the group that wants the updates) so I can add you to the mailing list just so we all keep on the same page re plans for the duration etc Just a reminder guys hand held CB raidios are a huge plus for these cruises. I can't emphasise enough how good it re communication between the cars. most of the regulars now have them I believe. Try nad borrow, beg or steal one if you don't. Cheers, Sulio Not sure if they're any good but 5 watters for $80.00, thats pretty cheap. You do need a 5 watta. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BLACK-5W-UHF-FDC-CB-RADIO-FULL-RANGE-FREE-EARPIECE_W0QQitemZ200295605636QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Electronics_Radio_Equipment?hash=item200295605636&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Vic/NDSOC Guys: Johnny Bellfield the Hoon!
Toecutter replied to C.A.R.'s topic in General Discussions
Just saw the pic of Johnny B on the Sun. Hah is wearing army green outfit standing on a tank. Looks like the guys in Iraq Hope he has'nt got any live rounds for that tank, he might have a go at the coppers with it! ;D If old Johnny was still at the helm they'd prolly lock him up and say he was a terrorist with that tank. You can't fart these days without getting into trouble by the law. Anybody got a copy of the pic to post up here! I'll see if I can find it. Cheers, Sulio -
Have'nt got room but was just curious. Cheers, Sulio

The booking Craig and I have is based on a one bedroom serviced apartment. It's got a double in the bedroom and a fold out sofer in the lunge area with balcony and mountain views. They have a special on in that you book 2 nights and get a third free fo rthe cost of $360.00. Unofrtunatley with this deal they do not offer the breaky or lift passes. Lift passes are $29.90 for a day so we'll just buy one on the day and we can still just go to the hotel restaraunt for breakfast. So that covers the Friday night of 20th Feb, Sat 21st and Sun 22nd leaving on the Monday 23rd. Sulio

Yer I paid about the $1800 mark but the price did go up as that was about 3 years ago, last time I enquired they wanted $2500. Stevo thats a pretty good price. Was that for the 17's? Anyhow the size is 8.5x17 (-6 I think) and 9.5x17 (-19 I think). Check in the wheels section as it has all details listed there. Cheers, Sulio

From memory I was doing 10 to 12L/100km with the SU's and with the tripples my rough estimates are anyhwere between 12 to 15L/100km depending on type of driving. Sulio

How much will you be asking for the rolling shell? Sulio
-
I used them for a while. Front wheel got loose although I took them on and off that many times I just could'nt be sure that it was my haste to get the car off the jack. However it was enough for me to say pay a bit extra and get the right wheels. I've heard they use em alot on Porsches to fill out wider "930 look" gaurds but thats as far as my research goes as one bad experience was enough for me. Sulio

Hi Scott, Just got a phone call from Craig and he's booked a double so that sorts me out. Sorry Scott. It's probably a good time for all those that need a room to jump in here. Cheers, Sulio

I've sorted out my plans. As it turns out I'll be flying solo so open to share a room. Iwas thinking about booking a double room which is $165 split two ways + the chair lifts, ($15 for two, might as well get em for that price). Any takers? Sulio
