Still waiting on mine to arrive. Can't wait though, I'm going through Japanese Classic Car withdrawal here in Ireland. There's nothing, no buzz of a rotary, no old skool Datsun's, not old Corolla's nothing I tell's ya! Worst of all no Zeds. I've seen a total of 1 brown 240z in average condition.

No I'm running King Springs (unknown rates). I plan on changing them. I'd recommend buying the kit of Tokico Shocks and Springs as its properly set up for those rates shocks, plus I believe they are a variable spring rate.

I have Tokico Illuminas, you will definately feel a difference on a setting of 4-5 compared with 2. I set mine on 2 for the street, otherwise its a very rough ride. Having a firm set of seats helped alot too. Before I put Recaro's in it was alot less comfortable. First night I had the car out was a Dandenong Mountain cruise with Lurch and a few other Viczcar.com members. They made an amazing difference to my worn out and shot Koni's. Very firm ride, but much better handling.

Dash caps (half caps) tend to look tacky in my opinion. Your best bet is to try someone like this: http://www.dashboardrestorations.com.au/ If you have a daily driver, it might be best to source a second dash to send off.

Yes but its a straight 6 not a V6. Also remember new car engines have much better fuel economy and drivability. So its not the same comparison. Anyone wanting to build a crazy L-series must realise there is always a trade off. Still of course an impressive figure for an old engine .

Could help yes, perhaps ask what format they need it in. And what works best, I've been told a single colour works best. ie: black & white, so maybe the red won't be able to stay. However if you could perhaps send a sample using the gif image and see what feedback comes back?

Hey mate, yeah I like it too. Then again I made it . I might leave the printing side up to Sulio, since he's in the country. The black background is there just to show the white stroke around the letters. They will be a clear sticker with white outline (if ya get what I mean). Oh and any opinions are appreciated.

Not sure about the above locally assembly claims, but it seems like a steal for $5000. When you consider how much you would save buying an original car like this. Be good if there were pics though.

Nothing like reviving an old thread. Had a play around today in Photoshop. Came up with another revision. I think the sticker need to clearly state the website address. That way when you fellas are driving your polished up Zeds around, anyone else interested in this fabulous marquee will know where to find us. Better yet, if they don't even know what a Z is they will soon learn.

Sulio, it might be a good idea to remove the email addresses from public view. As malicious bots and spiders on the web will pick them up and send them spam. If others need the email addresses it might be good to send a group private email.

When I was first looking at Zeds about 6-7 years back I test drove a burgundy red 2+2 with a vinyl roof on it. The car went ok, but the roof was enough to put me off buying it. I've heard all kinds of horror stories about the moisture that builds up underneath. Hope its ok on your car Motorsport Freak.
