I agree with moonstonebluZ you can't expect everything on a forum to be accurate. I understand the frustration, but its kinda comes with the forum territory doesn't it? Perhaps a discussion for another thread / email, but we can always award accurate information with sticky posts / front page articles etc..

By the way is it a Sedan? I'm guessing by GL it is. Coupe's are really rare now .

I know of a guy who was looking for one of these recently. What's your location? These are in big demand for old Datsun lovers!

Hey dude, help me get www.vintagejdm.com off the ground. That way we can start organising bigger events with other vintage japanese cars. I haven't had the time to start putting good information on the site yet, but it has loads of potential. Not that i want anyone to abandon auszcar.com just wanting to expand my interest and others interests in these great old cars - lots of us grew up with. As much as I love old zeds, I sometimes get sick of just talking about Zeds, so its good to have some variety and learn new things. Or perhaps its time for an RB26 or something? The next big project .

The irony of it is that you have the highest post count on the website Sulio, perhaps you should spend more time driving the Z than typing on the forums . I can understand you might want a change, but I think you'll be looking to buy another down the line. There just those kind of cars. If house commitments and other things are going on I can understand, but as Ash said don't think that buying a Porsche will give you any more satisfaction, especially the old Porsche's . Don't think you'll have a problem with the asking price.

Nice work, I made something similar for my Z. http://www.viczcar.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=40 Only problem from memory is getting to the spare tyre easily. It was also tricky getting it to bolt in to those little "ear tabs" in the car.

I personally want to paint mine Silver. For two reasons really, the first is that from factory my 240z was Silver (now red) and also because Silver looks amazing on a 240z. Especially with flares and other vinyl stripes etc.. A guy from a newspaper ages ago asked if he could shoot some Zeds and post an article in the paper. However he never got back to us. Would make an interesting piece and be great to get published in a local newspaper.

I'd so buy this car. I would love to get into racing - although looking at it, its almost too perfect for the track . Would spend 3x this just to build.

That's a good one. Although it doesn't appear to apply to this car, I like "Its had more hits than Elvis" when referring to an accident damaged car.

Bah, I'd much rather an RB or SR motor. Think of all the mods you could do to an L28 with that kind of coin.
