This is my old 240z, I bought it at 17, loved it. I wanted to do a proper resto but realised on my student budget I couldn't do it. I wish I never sold this car, thinking of buying it back as I know the new owner. It has sentimental value as it was my first car and first Z. Have loved Zcars ever since. This car was remarkably straight and original, never been in a major bingle only evidence of a very minor tap in the rear 1/4 but when I stripped it I never found any evidence of repair.

  8. We really need to write a post about this. From a webmaster perspective there are several reasons why images are a pain. 1.) Resizing / recompressing images on the fly requires server memory on a shared hosting plan this is limited. 2.) Storage space on server. While we currently have "some" space as we grow we will continue to need more space. More space = more monies . 3.) If you don't recompress / resize - people will attach 5 mb bmp files that could be compressed (without noticable quality loss) to about 50kb JPEG's. Will see what I can do about writing a tutorial.
  9. Sounds good mate, I don't have any problems with that. Hopefully nobody else does either . Make sure you mention the website address in the article.
  10. Sorry mate, the gallery is a little limited in terms of functionality. I plan to migrate the entire site to another system in the not too distant future. Although at this stage my MySQL skills are probably not quite up to the task, so may require some outside help with that. I plan to use the same software as www.vintagejdm.com but yeah for the moment the gallery is a little limited sorry. I do have to create some event folders for NSW / ACT and QLD as they have had events, but don't have galleries for them (my fault really sorry).

  16. Think you guys should aim to make this an annual event. On one hand I'm really pleased with the fantastic turn out, on the other I'm disappointed I couldn't be there. There are so many Zeds and owners I haven't met just because of the way we have grown over the past year or so. Sulio, we should put a small write up together for the front page and I'll place the youtube clip along with it. Be great if Matt Drago can upload the pics to our event gallery also.

Nice shot, looks like M&M's chocolate lol.
  21. If you need help promoting it on the front page of the site, just let me know. I can be a little slow making changes to the site at times so its good to let me know well in advance.
  22. Yes but you have more early Rotaries for sale in NZ it seems and cheaper . Yes I've been unfaithful looking at RX3's, but don't worry no plans to sell the Zed or anything.
