  1. Haha that was great who made it? Looks genuine also with the watermark on it and all. I really hope they don't spout any of that nonsense I'll be eased if they don't. Bloody Ladyboy Z enthusiasts, too darn picky.
  2. Desperately I want a set of Kobe Seiko wheels for my 240z, I love them in black on the Rally Cars of the period. So another +1 can't go wrong with black wheels on a red Z.
  3. Yes that toilet paper oil filter was part of Garage Squad. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,687.msg164264.html#msg164264 Horrendous episode... in my opinion.
  4. Someone really wants a Rally Clock. http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k187511385 129,000 YEN and 3 hours to go.
  5. Assuming no intake manifold included?
  6. Define too far gone?
  7. If he credits the German with the design of the s30z I'll turn it off...
  8. No doubt Mike will spout some incorrect nomsense about the history of the Z. Still looking forward to it though..
  9. 105 is a good innings. RIP.
  10. No rules just oldest tyre, and no prizes I'm afraid. I went to check my Gold 240z, but can't find the date stamps on it. Hmmm wonder how old it is....
  11. I have a 2 seater roof skin already, but looking at the roof on my 70 240z it's actually very straight, I don't see any obvious rust bubbles and it's not dented etc.. The sunroof isn't that large and so I'm considering repairing the existing roof because of how hard it is to find a good roof these days. My plan with the 2+2 roof is to use only a portion / section of it to repair mine. If I make a mess of it then I'll just use the roof skin I have, if not I can sell the roof skin later. I think the storage unit would make sense if you were living over there and able to send stuff to Australia. If I'm lucky with work I get to travel to San Francisco about once a year, often I've thought about finding S30z stuff while over there and sending it back but I'm never over there long enough to make it happen. With the way the dollar is heading though I think the US is looking less attractive for S30z parts.
  12. It doesn't look like that much more effort to graft a 2+2 roof to a 2 seater to be honest. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,7394.msg69480.html#msg69480 There is a slight gap at the rear 1/4 window but that is probably easier to overcome than welding up a patch without warpage.
  13. No problem, good to know. I'll be in Melbourne at some point should come out to Ballarat at some point anyway to see Dale and yourself. Also have a friend in Ballarat haven't seen in a few years so could do both. It might be easier to just knock up a patch at Tafe though - if they ever restart the classes..... http://www.theage.com.au/it-pro/government-it/tafe-enrolments-in-chaos-after-computer-crash-prevents-student-access-for-new-courses-20150124-12wqom.html
  14. I've got low fat dust, going cheap anybody?
  15. Haha, there is a good chance HS30 000150 has tyres older than 86, I'll have to go check.
  16. To keep the Cars For Sale (3rd Party Sites) Ebay, Carsales etc.. thread separate to the global market I've created this new thread. To kick things off an interesting car for sale is this 280z. http://www.datsunclassifieds.com/autos/datsun/280z/never-licensed-1976-280-z-1976-100-000.00-4333.html Asking 100K - never registered car.
  17. Sounds like sellers remorse already kicking in mate? It's not too late to change your mind. Sure you want a swimming pool? http://freshome.com/2010/07/05/the-pros-and-cons-owning-a-swimming-pool-home/
  18. I don't wonder, I know they aren't asking enough. Hence my 24 hour prediction.
  19. No rush but if anyone is cutting up or scrapping a 2+2 with a good roof I'd be interested in the roof. I've got a 2 seated roof but want to have a go at saving my current roof and patching the sunroof hole in it. I figure I can probably get a 2+2 roof quite cheap and won't need to English wheel it for the correct profile.
  20. I give it 24 hours. Sounds like a gem.
  21. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=tyre+date&safe=off&client=ms-android-google&espv=1&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sboxchip=Images&sa=X&ei=EADnVJeUDYL_8QXJ-4LAAw&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=360&bih=511&dpr=3 Should give you an idea. See if you can beat 1987
  22. Rev there should be a week/year date written on the tyre somewhere telling you how old they are. Tyres over 5-7 years old are not great.
  23. Ebay item http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=261784208156&globalID=EBAY-AU&alt=web 2+2 with car by turbo set up.
  24. Is that a gloss black stock bonnet or carbon fiber aftermarket 1? Car has come along mate, well done.
  25. Related to the last Ferrari video really.
