  1. Just 2 to go and we're all good for postage.
  2. Read the Q&A section lol. Wonder what happens if you hit the buy it now?
  3. Much harder to find our version as you can imagine. I think the original intention was that folks who contribute to the community by either donating to help keep the site running or by contributing to technical posts or help in other ways should have access. Where as those who "take" but do not give back shouldn't get access to it. It was more about determining how that's done that was the barrier to making it available. It's just more admin work is all.
  4. Payment received from gilltech for the 1 with all 3 pins still on the rear. 4 left, 2 with 2 pins and 2 with 1 pin each. Feel free to make reasonable offers. I have no need for these since I don't own a 260z.
  5. Paid list updated. Just waiting on. G (qty: 2) GongZ (qty: 2) Will PM reminders shortly, would like to get these posted by Saturday.
  6. Similar but North American, the version shown above and pdf copy I have are AU specific and has our AU specific part no.s.
  7. I have a PDF copy already, it was given to me by another member but they stipulated that not every Tom, Dick or Harry should get access to it. Only donating members. I was going to create a member/donating member section only and make the link available via that section.
  8. Updated paid list.
  9. Mostly because I don't have it's chassis number handy to quote like I do the other cars. I saved it's ID tag when I scrapped it, it's at my folks place in Melbourne. Next time I'm down I'll record it and take a photo of it's tag. I miss the car and all he memories that go with it. Like my first 240z. I have video of it (the 260z) and my first 240z that I need to upload (but first edit to cut down all the fluff) before uploading to Youtube. I think it would be good to include on my 72 240z build thread, since I already talked about those cars on that thread.
  10. Have you seen this car? I know it's priced higher but it's probably been on the market a while at $14k. It can't hurt to ask the seller if they are flexible on price. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Datsun-280ZX-1982/SSE-AD-4184947/?Cr=0 In my opinion it would be a good buy at $10-12k. It's always painful spending more upfront, but you end up saving a lot more in the long run if you buy a good well kept example. I used to get emails on the club mail asking if I knew of anyone looking for a 280zx but I haven't received 1 in a while. (last 2 years it's been more quiet).
  11. It has barn find dust, so that will increase it's value but I honestly would try and find 1 on the East Coast. Since the cost of shipping the car will be high. Add the $1-2K in cost of shipping it to you in Brisbane to your budget and you should be able to find a better car.
  12. You did well then, getting very hard to find.
  13. Is it 107 or 170? I had it down as #170. https://goo.gl/photos/6e9623Fhmcp4Szxe8
  14. This 1 in 907 Green? Would love to know the exact number. HS30 014XX? Mid to late 71?
  15. Hi Folks, Just bumping this up again, found these again. Got 5 in total. Will sell for $120 a pair or $60 each.
  16. HS30 in the UK. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Datsun-240Z-1973-RHD/262963725947 VIN NO. is obscured. £27,500.00 Buy it now
  17. Hi Everyone, Just sent a bunch of PMs regarding payment and postage etc... let me know if you didn't receive 1, it should look like the below? Please note I'll be sending these via standard mail, so no insurance or tracking no. If you would like to pay extra for this let me know via PM? So far all the earlier free ones I sent out were received without issue. Also I will only send these out once I've received payment from everyone. I'll check everyone off the list as I receive payment so we'll know who is holding everyone up. I'm doing it this way to avoid having to revisit the post office every couple of days as I receive payment. If you missed out this time, there is a chance I'll be getting more made. Since we had a lot of interest from North America and I might take a bunch with me over there when I visit again in June.
  18. RHD S30Z parts manual. http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.asp?id=1315028722&cc=61&pid=586341549&hbc=1&member_hash=&ct=title-link $245.00 (45 mins to go). I was going to bid on it since it's in great shape, but I've already got 1 in rough shape and can't justify it. Good luck.
  19. Yeah looks like a bog and flog to me (the paint job), don't know how long ago it was done? But the 1/4 panel join looks very wavvy which to me indicates body filler in that area, and likely done to fix rust. Find 1 with a better body, even if mechanically rough. Much easier to fix mechanical issues than body work. Body work is incredibly time consuming to get right and therefore much more expensive if you outsource. If this was a 240z I'd say buy it, but it's not...
  20. @Mark if Andrew has already found something I'd be interested (non vented I assume?). Sent a message on Facebook also.
  21. So anyone bought this kit before? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NUT-BOLT-KIT-400pc-SUIT-Datsun-1000-1200-1600-510-180b-200b-240-260-280Z-Coupe/222136671259 http://stores.ebay.com.au/workshopsuppliesonline/
  22. Lol I'll have to add the 2+2 to my signature it was really rough and got totalled by a WRX. I regret not taking more parts off it before sending it to scrap. Hindsight and all that. Not a good panel left on it though! Find memories of that car, got me into quite a bit of trouble.
  23. 2+2's had a smaller diamond pattern vinyl and I believe many may have had a carpet instead? My old 2+2 did anyway. Best bet would be to get something custom made for a 2+2, not a lot of places cater to 2+2 interior needs I'm afraid. Given they are globally less common than the 2 seaters. Just happen to be more prevalent in Australia. See here also. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/15415-revs-classic-interiors/
  24. That is Marc's car, the other 240z he's talking about is my 73 240z which I sold to him around year 2001. Still regret selling it, but he's going to keep her original so I gave him the original L24 and gearbox for it recently which had been in storage around 15 years! I still recall seeing this car in the video (the turbo L28 70 model) hanging from the roof of Zworx in Mordialloc Melbourne when Warren ran the place. It was literally a bare shell nothing on it.
