Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 4, 2012 Moderators Posted October 4, 2012 Should ask Alan hs30 if he has any info on 240zg if they cut in factory or just bolted on. Already have; apparently the did have the original metal arches underneath but because they were sold with the narrow wheels, arches didn't need cutting. Recently owners did start cutting the acrhes to fit wide rubber and now for restoration purposes, are re-fitting the original wheel arches back on under the over fenders! Quote
reverendzed Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 So the flares are on and now we get to play with further lowering with stiffened springs with the Koni Adjustable's....we'll see how it goes! Quote
FuzzyDropbear Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 As usual Rev, great work! Youre going to run out of things to do to it by christmas at this rate! Quote
luvemfast Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Rev's sold up, moved overseas for a year, started again and is STILL ahead of everyone else! Love ya work Quote
reverendzed Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 Some more goodies showed up in the mail today! These should be on by next week. Rev. Quote
peter t Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Cool Rev. It sure doesn't take you long to get back into it. What did you do with the Z that you had in the US of A. Sold it at a profit no doubt to fund your return to OZ. Great to have you back mate. Quote
reverendzed Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 Hey Pete, Yep, sold it on and then purchased a 73 split bumper RS Camaro...then sold that for a little extra and then brought a 73 454 corvette....now that one I wish I didn't sell! But happy to have the Zed that I've got and just personalizing it. hope you are doing well. Rev. Quote
reverendzed Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 So played with my seats today - wow! some hours later I have one done! But the covers I bought whilst a tight fit are fantastic, very happy with them. Quote

reverendzed Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 Hey Mick, Here is the site http://interior-innovations.com/demo_site/ his name is Khalid. Quick postage and good fit although it's fiddly! Rev Quote
zzzzed Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Than mate. Yeh the ones I got from eBay are a tight fit but look magic Quote
Sirpent Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Great looking kit Rev ! Is the fit tight as they are lined with additional padding? Cheers John Quote
zzzzed Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Just had a look at the site. They are the same as the ones I have. Quote
reverendzed Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 Hey John, I think they were tight because the previous re-upholsering (which was great but I didn't like the fabric) put extra padding in the seat and back which still accommodated the new covers it just meant a lot of massaging of the material to get it to stretch. reverendzed Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 Nice to get out and go for a blast today! Quote
