Just waiting  for the ECU as i have decided to redo electrics and fit Microtech

that should be done in the next week or so then on the dyno for tune.

Hopefully will be out at Mallala with in the next couple of months.

Will start with Sprint races and hill climbs , Then maybe tarmac rallies if i can get sponsors dollars

The dash is a alfa motorsport fibreglass unit. Definetly would not cut up an origonal

If you're lookign at doing tarmac rallies check the rules first. As you're running an RB you may or mot be able to run in tarmac rallies depending on the rules they use.

Hi

Not to bothered about rallies if it wont fit into a class, I will look more into

classes later on after having some fun in the car.

The colour looks abit yellow in these pics. It is the code 112 lime yellow that the 240z came out in.

We are restoring one at work at the moment and that is what convinced me to do mine that colour it looks supperb.

Mine is a simialr colour (the Ford toxic green) and it looked very yellow when it went on and turned greener as it dried properly.

At track days and supersprints you will ahve a ball. It's only when yo step up into propoer state level racing or tarmac rallies you might find it difficult to find somewhere to run.

Got the ecu yesterday. its a Microtech LT16 ,Hopefully start wiring up next weekend.

A mate of mine is a wiz at this sort of stuff he reckons it will be fully wired up in half a day then

the other half on the dyno.

Hi

Good pics Lurch, where you there or a friend?

As you can see by the tyre smoke on one side of the car my LSD wasn't working.

Just put a 4.4 in and it wasn't tight enough and i didn't have enough time to fix it.

Bummer to as i was only .5 of the best 2wd time

and .4 of the top 12 shootout.

Bloody had a ball and cant wait till next year , with the LSD sorted and the Rb26 will be in and

sorted by then look out.

That 260 2+2 had the quickest time of 42 seconds. Has GTR 4wd and 600+ hp chevy

Allot off great cars where there and it was run fantastically my hat is off to the

organizers of the event and the volunteers on the weekend

No I just was linked the pics from another forum, Paul:

http://sport.mwp.id.au/

FWIW Kev's 2+2 is a 6ltr Alloy headed Chev, 5-speed Jerrico & a Hilux transfer case grafted on the back with a custom super HD input shaft,

R200 rear & R180 in the front ;)
