A quiet but progressive build..........

No wonder, it has a

"Rust Whisperer'"

"L Series Whisperer'

and a 'Mikuni Whisperer'

all working on it.

Lurch, you mentioned in your early girl thread, that the car had a 280ZX injection manifold  and was controlled by a Wolf V4 ECU. Looks like it had a 45mm throttle body also(mentioned above)

Do you remember what injectors were used? And what was the throttle body from?

I remember seeing a street reg rally car many years ago with a similar set up.

280ZX injection manifold and std injectors, a larger Ford throttle body(can't remember what model or size) and an Autronics ECU.

Got to drive it a few times on bitumen and I have to say it went really well, very driveable on the street with a shitload of go when needed.

It had a 2.9 litre bottom end and extensive port work to the head.

The 280ZX manifold had an adaptor plate welded to the front of it to take a 60mm Ford XF throttle body.

Injectors were - IIRC - Bosch V8 Mercedes items.

The 280ZX manifold isn't a nice item as it's designed for economy & torque.

Small runner length & a tiny plenum.

I got rid of it as soon as I could afford to :)
