Shaun05 Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Hey people, As the title states, I'd like to purchase any L28 F54 or N42 blocks that might be available. They can be bare block, bottom end or whole engine. I am willing to travel to pick them up or pay for freight. If you've got any you don't want, let me what you want for them. Cheers, Shaun Quote

Shaun05 Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Still looking, if anyone has got one they want to part with. Thanks Peter but looking for more of a blank canvas than a finished peice. Quote
dat2kman Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 (edited) I heard of a block, recently had been cleaned, then Sonic tested, the sonic tests were very revealing, in that this virgin block, had more than enough wall thickness, to be able to take 90.-91 mm pistons. That block was onsold for $1000, Its a bit of a lucky dip, as only around 1 in every 20 are that thick in the bores! Edited February 12, 2017 by dat2kman gav240z and Groundhog 2 Quote

Yeah Gav, I'm after a block that'll go to 89mm or more. I'm not using the LD28 crank though. I still have it but may choose to sell it, as I've gone in a slightly different direction. Quote
