Chungy Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Hi Guys,I'm in the market for a 240/260z coupe with preferably minimal rust and a working engine in it.I know this sounds like a lot but if anyones got a rolling shell + an engine I'm happy to talk about that opportunity too.I'm fairly new to all this, never owning a z before. If anyone has a rolling shell + Engine and gearbox ready to go, please pm me to educate me how to get that running. Thanks heapsAndy Quote
GongZ Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) Welcome to the forum Andy. Have a good look at the 'Cars for Sale' section to get a better idea of what your budget will get you; http://www.viczcar.com/forum/forum/14-cars-for-sale/ I bought an excellent 240Z for $10,000 - but that was in 1984. dat240z Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Welcome - I think with the budget you have in mind, perhaps a 2+2 is more realistic and attainable. You could however get a very poor (full resto required) 2 door for around 10k.. Good luck and all the best Quote

The cars are featured in the gallery here - http://www.viczcar.com/member-rides/radovan-and-michelle-von-vinterberg%E2%80%99s-260-twins This car was for sale 2 years ago and the subject of this thread on AusZcar - http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/11076-80s-special-260z-2-seater-for-sale/ The other car from the pair was bought by an AusZcar member (stevo_gj) and is the subject of this 'Members Project Journal' topic - http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/2882-steves-75-260z-2-seater/page-15 Edited August 27, 2015 by GongZ Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted November 24, 2015 Administrators Posted November 24, 2015 Thanks that would make it a 71 but it has a solid quarter panel, so maybe this was changed at some point from an earlier donor car or the vent hole was filled in. Quote
