Hi Guys,

I'm in the market for a 240/260z coupe with preferably minimal rust and a working engine in it.
I know this sounds like a lot but if anyones got a rolling shell + an engine I'm happy to talk about that opportunity too.

I'm fairly new to all this, never owning a z before. If anyone has a rolling shell + Engine and gearbox ready to go, please pm me to educate me how to get that running.

Thanks heaps
Andy

Welcome - I think with the budget you have in mind, perhaps a 2+2 is more realistic and attainable. You could however get a very poor (full resto required) 2 door for around 10k..

Good luck and all the best

That is a very well known car on this forum, previously one of a matching pair owned by a husband and wife.

The cars are featured in the gallery here -

This car was for sale 2 years ago and the subject of this thread on AusZcar -

The other car from the pair was bought by an AusZcar member (stevo_gj) and is the subject of this 'Members Project Journal' topic -

Thanks for all your input guys,

I will definitely give the owner a call and see if we can work something out.
What's the best/non rip off company to freight this car to melbourne?

Or should I just go up there and drive it back...

Thanks

Thanks that would make it a 71 but it has a solid quarter panel, so maybe this was changed at some point from an earlier donor car or the vent hole was filled in.

Yep the holes were filled up. This is a September 1971 build Gav.
