Administrators gav240z Posted August 20, 2015 Administrators Posted August 20, 2015 Wow some good pieces there for 2+2 owners. Now there is no excuses for not repairing the rust in your bus . Quote
C.A.R. Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 UNDER FLOOR BRACE BOTH SIDES AVAILABLE PRICE $375 EACH Those 2+2 rails are too shallow & don't appear to follow the contours in the floor. The photo about is of a 240Z as well... Quote
Scoota G Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Those 2+2 rails are too shallow & don't appear to follow the contours in the floor. The photo about is of a 240Z as well... Actually that's a 74 2+2. Belongs to Dean. Wayne must not be aware of the difference between that and later model. Quote
wayne080866 Posted August 24, 2015 Author Posted August 24, 2015 Yep it is a 260z 2+2 What's the difference? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 24, 2015 Administrators Posted August 24, 2015 Yep it is a 260z 2+2 What's the difference? I believe that there are some differences between early 74 260z 2+2s and later model 260z 2+2s. Same with the 2 seaters Nissan made changes through the years to the body to strengthen them a bit more. Quote
C.A.R. Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Floors are different on post '75 2+2's. Rails are deeper & follow the contours of the floor as they are not flat like that of 240's... gav240z 1 Quote
Scoota G Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Yea the 74 model used surplus 240Z Fronts. That's why the radiator support is the same as the 240Z as it is on the 74 2+2. Quote

Linton Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) Hi Wayne, alas they are different from my 76 260 +2 mine are not straight across the floor and flat like yours, they follow the contour of the floor, they are way taller in some areas and pancake thin in others, my floor is not flat like the one you have made.. but well done anyway guess you now need to find a later one Edited August 27, 2015 by Linton Quote
C.A.R. Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Early 2+2's with the 240Z style floorpan are less common than the later 2+2's with the late model spec 260Z floorpan. I sure you don't want a customer buying a set of rails off you, offering them up to their 2+2 which has the later floorpan & then ringing you saying they don't fit...? Quote
wayne080866 Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 No Lurch we certainly don't.We want to make sure we are selling the under floor braces for the right car. Thanks to all that have posted on this, really appreciate your help. Quote
