The restoration was a back-to-metal restoration with the only part not coming off the car being the diff. The intent of the restoration was to keep the car as original as possible. Where I could, I would clean⁄repair the original parts. Otherwise, I would source the parts from Nissan if they had them and if not, reproductions were used. All of the restoration work was completed by myself and father other than the exhaust system, seats and final top coats. There are a few things that I have not kept stock. These are retractable seat belts, relay switched headlights, radio and extractors⁄exhaust system. This Z has matching numbers and although I am selling it without registraion or RWC, the original number plates have been personalised and will be part of the sale of the vehicle. Since being restored and returned back to the road, it has seen very limited travel, only being driven once or twice a year. Otherwise, the vehicle has been garaged. I have listed the odometer as it reads, but it is in miles, not kilometers. The odometer only has 5 digits and I am sure that it has already clocked over before I purchased the car. (i'm in Toowoomba myself) If you get a chance to venture out in the zed you should head to Toowoomba for the Nandos meet that's held at K-Mart plaza on the last Saturday of every month from 5:30/6:00pm. (there's a meet this Saturday day BTW 27/6) hope to see it getting around the area but mate

I Had this bloke call me yesterday asking if i was interested in selling my zed to him as hes looking for another one to restore/do up. obviously my mate who told him was under the impression i was looking to sell mine. id have to be in some dire state to sell my old girl lol. maybe some one could offer a trade plus cash for there half finished project boys??

If you ever hear one with an external gate they sound rather angry. as for giving her the beans... they love it and track true aswell.I have her on E85 makes her a bit thirsty for daily driving duties but, averaging 24 odd LT's's per 100KM hahaha but it has all the mod cons and is still nice to drive so i cant complain.

Ive been busy playing with my new daily Thrasher an FG xr6 Turbo. nothing like a 2 tonne taxi with some power. ive been trying to save up the coin for a larger Precision turbo (6766) and some other fruit for it to get me close to the 10 second car im hoping for. shes ran a 11.9 @ 121MPH so far so bit more power and some semi's should get me going good! im still considering a motor swap on my Zed as ive got a few wiring issues with gauges and what not to sort out so im considering just starting from scratch and rewire the whole car yay for me! oh and having scored a hoist in my mates shed i can use any times a god sent! But +1 for John Wick, i really enjoyed it and was happy to hear its a trilogy with the next movie to come out 2016! awhile back i watched Fast7 and the last season of SOA.... boy was that an emotional weekend! For newer cars like CroS13 said you just have to change your fuel system. im running E85 on my daily (FG XR6T) had the full upgraded fuel system new lines, 1000cc injectors, new in tank pump and a 2.4Lt surge tank. I love the economy averaging 23.4Lt Per 100km haha. After every couple of tanks i swap it back to 98 and havent had a drama yet. but given that link it will at least clean every nook and cranny with the E85 through her. its like any thing. if its done properly you wont have a drama.

That is just plained F*&^ED! id be all about naming and shaming this workshop to warn others Gav. ive delt with a few shady workshops before myself and it makes it hard to trust others. at least you didn't see it on the news being taken for a joy ride or anything like that! be interesting to see what this guy has to say......

Hey Guys On the prowl for another front bumper, as long as she's straight. can have the holes for rubber inserts in them i dont mind as ill be filling the holes and painting her any way. not really wanting to buy a brand newy at this stage. Wow & Wow........., This thread has made my last 3 hours at work bearable Gav. ive knoticed that the safari brown seems to be the flavour of the month of late here on the forums.... making me think if i should paint my 260 that colour as it grows on you after awhile i seet that the tafe courses are paying off, only problem is once people know you can do it, they'll be lining up asking for help or you to do the job for them lol

my Zed too only cops harsh names sadly. but she doenst have a name yet. My 180sx on the other hand was given the name Jill for a bit as the old plate was 347- JLL. the name caused a bit of shit for a new missus back in the day and kept asking me who the hell Jill was lol

The Equalizer was a pretty good, but in saying that i havent watched a movie with Denzal Washington in it that i didnt enjoy. Was nice and brutal too, and you get ........(SPOILER ALERT)................. To see Dan Bilzarian get hung with a peice of high tensile barb wire. I'd give it bout 8/10
