  1. I started a Pintrest Page some time ago, and have now amassed several thousand images and links all S30 related. Originally it was for my own purposes (RS30 000797), but now it has become a massive repository of references, ideas and inspirations I'm sharing for all those interested in S30's. I am continuially adding to it ,daily, weekly and or monthly, when ever I find something of interest. I've saved and catagorised images, links and products form all over the world wide web. I hope members will find it inspiratioanal. And, of course if Admins find it inappropriate, by all means delete this post. https://www.pinterest.com.au/stephen_taranto/z-car-resource/
  2. Did you ever sell this shell?
  3. It’s interesting, how different countries classify the dates of manufacture versus compliance versus date of initial registration. I’ve seen some 260z’s in the US which are marked as early as April 1973. Phil Ray is increasing his world wide registration of 240, 260 & 280’s. It would be great if we could add more Australian cars onto this data base. you get a cute little certificate to frame for garage too!
  4. Mine is 000797
  5. I've been sampling Axminster & Wilton Carpets. IMG_6147 is so far my preferred as it is a dense low pile height 100% wool woven carpet.
  6. Agree, MZR Roadsports do use a reskinned dash too, which looks absolutely fine. For sure. I'm researching materials all the time. The seats come up well in the, already available, Vinyl & Leather kits, so I probably wont make my own, but door and other upholstery pieces, and hard plastic coverings on my agenda. I'm going to chat with the Dash Doctor about alternative Vinyl which could be used, particularly the textures.
  7. Reverting to type, I'm an interior designer, I want to elevate the quality level off my Z. I'm about to make a prototype, Wilton, woven plush pile, heavy weight, 80%wool, 20% nylon carpet kit with leather bound edges for my '74 260Z. Starting with a black version, to keep the an original appearance. I'm using the factory carpet to make templates. I'll do a tunnel section as well. I 'I will also consider making these for resale if there's enough interest. For those wanting a high quality interior, in the vein of MZR Roadsports, I am considering producing bespoke interior combinations too. Next on my agenda will be interior trim kits to replace all of the vinyl with alternative upholstery materials, such as Alcantara. This could also run to coverings for the hard plastic panels too. I've seen the Carbon Signal Alcantara dash & console unit upholstery, and it's quite impressive when done well too. I'll update with my carpet kit results.
  8. It's a long shot, but do you still have this?????
  9. Yep ‘‘tis the hatch floor, wheel well etc.
  10. Seller will separate.
  11. https://www.rarespares.net.au/rarespares/search/nissan/34a/datsun-240z-260z/panels-and-rust-panel-sections/floor-pans-and-boot-floor-sections Nothing there
  12. I'll wait to hear from the guy
  13. Thanks guy's. Are the floor pans the same from 240 to 260? I've messaged him anyway. See what he says. I could be edging closer!
  14. I’d say the floor would have to com out as it looks like Bell Beach on a big day! But it may pull out ok. We’ve got a chassis bench to pull it with. I have been offered a body with front end damage. A ‘statuary right off’ in NSW., but yes, the price asked is around 3.5K. but could’ve negotiated. It’s otherwise on A1 condition. I need hatch, rear beaver panel, fuel tank, would have a lot of other useful sections to use. il need to do further stripping out and decide from there.
