(i hope i didnt miss it somewhere and just am reposting? :/) for info sakes my dash seems pretty far gone and i already have one of the "skins" on there from the previous owner. for the time being or till i can afford to fix the dash properly it seems like a easy fix to make it look a bit prettier.

im pretty certain my old girl should be up to the task, depending its not pulled a part or something but im keen to show her off , other wise im pretty keen to meet up either way though

i'd be keen for a drive but being in toowoomba is abit far away for a day cruise/meet. :/

thanks scoota im pretty sure that mines from 2+2 after all as it has the hole in the back but no ash tray haha using a hair straightener, i dont think my missus would approve hmmm rapid fix might be worth a look into.

In my 260 ive got the auto centre console but its had a manual conversion done (280zx box) and what im wanting to know is there any differences between the 2 seater and 2+2 manual centre consoles in terms of lenghts and mounting points? ive done a bit of searching on the fourm but i cant seem to find exactly what im looking for. As ive considered trying to repair my console as it has a few cracks here and there but the passenger side part is pretty warped (from excessive heat id assume?) so i figured if would be worth finding a second hand 2+2 console if it would fit. Hi everyone my names Matty, ive been a member here for a little over a month now so i'd though i'd introduce my self and my 260z 2 seater shes pretty clean, has had new new outer door skins no rust in the front guards and only a small litter bubble starting to show its face on the bottom of the rear drivers side quarter and a little bit in around the engine bay. apart from that its rust free. The car was orginally an auto but was converted to a 5 speed with the 208zx box. has the electronic dizzy from the 280zx also. its reletivly stock running on lower springs, new shocks and 8'' sportmax mags ( im wanting to get a set of rota RB's eventually...possibly) it only needs a few touches here and there (mainly the interior) and maybe a few little minor additions to help get her going a bit better sadly not long after i purchased her 3rd gear went and did some damage or so i was told at the mechanics fast forward a month and a half i managed to source another box here off a fellow forum member (Cheers Gillo!!) shes now running again and couldnt be happier but at least ill have a spare box to get rebuilt just incase. but apart form that im just going to enjoy driving her and trying to attend as many club meets i can possibly attend. heres a link to a few photos http://s1146.photobucket.com/albums/o524/Matty_180/Facebook/Datsun/ Cheers MATTY
