have a look at this link... http://www.parliament.qld.gov.au/work-of-committees/committees/LACSC/inquiries/past-inquiries/PPRMVI on the link you will find all 27 people who wrote in to respective members of parliament to make a difference and voice their opinion in regards to these laws, 27 PEOPLE out of a whole state! i tried putting a post up ( here on the forum and other forums) urging people to right in and i got jack all support just the same old 'oh it wont affect me' line. slowly people are waking up to the idea that it affects basically any one who ones a car modifiyed or not. /End Rant/ Matty

i couldnt handle fitting a v8 to my zed but my 180 on the other hand id love to do a 1uz conversion

Try to get something post 92 (by memory) as the series 1 PTU's tend to sh*t them selves.(if you hadnt noticed/heard that) i think its 92 onwards the problem was fixed. +1 for the boring car idea too. the 300's are great but arent the easiest of to work on. especially my old TT 32 :/ oh and make sure it hasnt got Hi-Cas or at least have the lock bar for it. makes for some interesting driving when you have it.

if that is/was 50RTA then she as some lovely rust in the front left hand side rail. i looked at it a few years ago when it was for sale last some fella called alex was trying to sell it. but it had too much cancer for me at that stage to handle and also had a red bull can for the radiator overflow haha.

i had my ex threaten to trash my Zed after sh*t went sour ..... Be sure to check fuel line and fuel pump. i found this out the hard way with my old 300zx (Z32) after i tried to get her running after a couple of years, the fuel pump had just given up and the lines was dry and cracked. (dodge job from the previous owner didnt help) +1 for the fire extinguisher idea but

the rocky auto Zed looks the best it just has the right amount height, same with the blue 240 d3c0y posted up, both good examples but its all up to personal surely you could get the Wat R types in a decent offset with out needing spacers. using spacers is like a woman will implants,sure they look good but can come off looking cheap (and its just not the same as a natural ones). hahah

id be keen to meet up guys, it will be easy enough for me living in toowoomba and all haha

i'd try to stick to a 2 seater Zed as the 2+2 look wrong but thats my opion, but then again it all depends what you want i guess BTW clean Evo

i'd go with an RB mate yeah the 1uz might be good but every one puts a V8 in a zed so stay with a six(a nissan six at that too!!)and boost it like crazy but also depends on your deication to the build at hand

ive been to a few DS meets in my 260Z. My plates are MYS30 btw if that helps, im trying to sell my daily( the 180sx) to spend more time(money) on my 260z too lol. be nice to catch up with a fellow zedder's at Feb's DS meet. the 2+2 you speak of wouldnt be jimmy's buy any chance the one with the Z on the bonnet?

sweet 280 bullzed but you need to attend more downshitf meets to show the(QLD) Zeds are still in force i agree with you on the practicallity side (and the police side too!!) but even still as your's stands its still looks tough and its practical. i would like to lower mine alittle bit more but im happy as she sits now and hassle free from the police too, but my 180sx on the other hand lol (even with its fully sick fitment) tends to attract the police like fat kids to cupcakes :/

I'm just wondering on what you guys ( and possibly girls) on here think of the stanced look ie slamming cars insane wheel fitment/offset. personally i think its a taste thing but some cars look better with 15" mags and a nice big chunky tire with out having to be dropped on its guts.( like the Zed's ) or maybe im just sick of people who own sh*t boxes telling me i need MOAR low on my 260z? just food for though, but i'd like to know your thoughts and opinions. cheers Matty

that turbo 240 ive seen it at a few meets and its T-I-D-Y, tidy! had thought he sold it but obviously is still trying. was orginally advertised for 30k ithink
