  1. Just sayin'
  2. Now this is a different form of tarmac racing
  3. Hi Scott I really think you should consider the option of sourcing a car from the east. Transport is not that expensive and you will greatly increase your options. For example http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,15450.0/topicseen.html Just my opinion.
  4. I will be there, at the picnic area just before 11:30 in a Silverish Lexus IS with a Blue esky next to it. See you all then.
  5. Gidday Mark, Must say that is a surprise, a big surprise. Good luck with sale, sounds like a fair price. Cheers PB
  6. Gidday & Welcome. +1 on pics would be nice. What are your plans for the car, is it drivable ? Cheers PB
  7. Hi Mate Might be worth swinging past the local Auto A/C guy and getting the source of the grinding confirmed, is it the clutch unit or the compressor itself ? Don't forget that with just about any work on the A/C you will be up for a regas afterwards and for that you will most likely need expert help, could be quicker and more efficient to give them the entire job ? Cheers PB
  8. Any indication of how many will bring a Z ? My little girl (9) is very keen to see one that is running
  9. Good luck with that, see attached 150L, 120L, 70L and about 30L Yep it is all about size
  10. I have a sizeable collection of eskies ranging in size from about 40L up to 150L - we use them for our annual "Bathurst Pilgrimage" The 70L is the biggest that will fit in the car so will bring that and a 40L one. I also have a box of stainless steel cutlery that I will bring along. Cheers PB
  11. Hi Gav Bit of a mixed bag for you Great - to have the CH plate OK - to find gas strut that is close enough Bad - that the clock has stopped, hopefully it is only a simple fix. Have you taken her for a decent drive yet ? Cheers PB
  12. I will be there + .5 Happy to bring Drinks / Ice & Esky No Z though
  13. Happy Days :)
  14. 240Z Project for sale, looks like the body / rust work was done by Scoota, so it will be quality http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1973-240z-Restored-Rust-Repaired-/231449550497?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item35e377dea1
  15. +1, that is what I would be doing until a longer term solution can be found.
  16. Slightly crazy idea, How would it be to take two standard SU type boxes, and make one longer box out them ? Sort of similar to the S20 unit. Would need some though into how to manage the filtration side of things though.
  17. Hi Rev I agree that removing it is the best answer, an unreliable alarm is a PITA. Insofar as the issue with it killing the spark you need to determine : - is it just killing the spark or is the entire ignition circuit dead ? If just the spark head to the coil and track the wires, there should only be a couple, Dizzy, condenser, suppressor & power supply. If everything is dead, then you need to look at the ignition circuits under the dash. It is really hard to diagnose via email, but hopefully this will give you a start (no pun intended) Anybody local to Dave able to drop past ? Cheers PB
  18. Here is a photo I stole from Mark's companies facebook page.
  19. Gidday Mark (Scoota G) had a really neat airbox made out of an RB30 rocker cover on Oscar. Maybe consider something like that. Not sure if Mark still has it or if he can post up a photo or two. Looked really tidy. Cheers PB
  20. Pretty sure that is the one I was thinking of, the word "Concourse" stood out in the ad.
  21. Hi Mate For that money you should be able to get an extremely good 280ZX it will just take a little time. I saw an immaculate auto advertised the other day, will see if I can the ad and post a link. Cheers PB
  22. I have always regarded the original Land Rover and the 110 type as a "Landy".
  23. Fantastic, bet today will seem like the longest day, well until 4:00pm at least
  24. Have you tried a specialist fastener supplier for the bolts ? Cheers PB
