  1. The flares and the front bar murder the 240z. Interesting what itll go for.
  2. Im in the home of the 240z in Australia - the nations capital.
  3. My 240z had the L28 and no one at the motor registry blinked an eyelid.
  4. Does the sump sit above or below the front cross member? If below - that 90 degree right angle bowl face is just asking to be torn apart on a bump - I should know, mine did, and its of legal height. Should have a 45 degree front face to slide rather than dig in.
  5. Welcome mate. You have certainly chosen an expensive car to work on as a highscooler. I hope your budget allows. Expect to spend over $1000 for those parts alone IF you can find something decent. In addition, you should change the title to bonnet and hatch, not hood and bonnet! All the best.
  6. Without mate - hands down.
  7. I work for Qantas and can see what the freight boys can do to get it to BNE airport for collection if you want Gill.
  8. Hahaha, yeah the Sombrero is my summernats/garden special - the Mrs hates me wearing it in the garden which makes me love it even more!
  9. Hi guys, trying to clear some garage space. Will add more items later but currently have an air dam, sand blasted front bumper and 240z windscreen for sale. Make an offer and help me clear it out. I can assist with freight. Cheers
  10. Copy - thanks very much mate. Ill report my progress/results over the next few days.
  11. Also, can you please confirm these are the correct "STOCK" dimensions: Knurl diam - 13.00mm Shoulder length - 10.00mm Thread - M12-1.25 Length (front) - 32mm (rear) - 37mm. Im thinking of leaving the rears as Ive done the disc conversion and already have the extra 4mm to compensate for the spacer. Or is it best to have a universal set?
  12. Thanks heaps Dat2kman. Yeah true re the fixing of the spacer - i think onto the hub would be the best as its only a 4mm one and isnt hugely differing the stock stance. Ideally I wouldn't even run them but its slightly rubbing onto the raised willwood lettering. Do you think 44mm would be too long? I have some genuine watanabe nuts which seem quite shallow. Ive found the Dorman brand from the states which look good and can be bought in a 39mm length which would be perfect.
  13. Also, are they press or screw in style.............. apologies for stupid questions!
  14. Hi guys, just after a little advice. I run the stock wheel studs, however since purchasing some Wats and requiring a 4mm spacer to clear the willwoods, I feel I need to get some longer studs to compensate for the spacers. The nuts are only grabbing the end of the studs. From my understanding the stock length is 32mm, does anyone know of say a 37ishmm stud length? Any help and or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I looked through the NICE.com catalogue, but am a tad confused- not hard to do. Basically, I want the stock front and back studs however 4mm longer if that makes sense. Cheers
  15. Try using the old dog and bone mate.
  16. Haha, someones keen!
  17. Hi Woz, is the new kit designed to eliminate the spot caliper and replace it with the new all in one caliper?
  18. Hi mate. I have an original rust free bumper which has already been sandblasted. Send me your mobile and I can txt some pics. Also have a fibreglass airdam if interested
  19. Hi mate, you need a rear bowl RB sump to clear the crossmember. Try source a 200zr 300zx or rear bowl RB Patrol sump. They hang low - 115mm clearance to the ground but I got my own shortened in depth and increased its width. The US ones are very good and I'll get one at some stage. A lot of the US conversion parts state for race use only but are perfectly legal. I think it's more of a legal disclosure for whatever road laws exist there.
  20. Amanda Keller!!!! Wash your mouth out and get your eyes checked mate!!! Beyond 2000 was a great show. I cant see the electric car phenomenon completely taking over so soon, Think about the absolute financial disaster to state run economies like the USA, Russia, the Middle Eastern nations etc to name a few. So many products that we use daily are oil or petroleum based. It will eventally happen, but 8 years.... nah I'd say probably 50.

    2Jze Swap

The 2J and 1Js are very tall motors. Dont get me wrong, they are weapons, but it just seems sacrilege to use Toyota power in a Datsun/Nissan. I'd totally understand if Nissan had no viable engines for a swap, but in all honesty - the RBs are very good and very similar in essence. Maybe just to be a little different, but its not out of left field different ala the M3 engines etc.
  22. $70,000 for a 260z wow.... The prices of late are getting silly.
  23. Good stuff mate. Whack up a few more games images. Have you bought the RB yet?
  24. Congratulations........ a long journey approaching the finish line. You should be very proud of the car.
  25. PM sent. Also be interested to know if the R200 is an LSD and the ratios.
