  1. Ok - $7500
  2. Thats half an hour of your life you will never get back Nizmo!! haha There are a lot of variables that need specifying mate. What work has been done to the engine if any. What condition/age/km are on the components. What brands have you used (quality parts or cheap ebay items). If you provide more details it'd be easier to assess the worth or alternatively just google them. I will say however that your package is not a common s30 power plant option, so limiting your sales net to just z owners would be unwise. Perhaps ask some supra guys etc as the market would be there as well as the knowledge.
  3. I wonder how difficult the flared 260z would be to register and stay legal. Is it engineered? A lot of headaches in ownership I'd wager. Still coolish though.
  4. So is the wide body 260z unroadworthy in its current form? Or just requires engineering to verify what’s been done?
  5. Vundebarg!!!!! Love the wheels
  6. Best 2+2 ive seen. Cant help but assume they got a lot of design ques off my 240z! haha
  7. You go an itch that needed to be scratched! Nice..........
  8. To quote Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction ................. "Zeds dead baby".
  9. Love the 911 orange. Looks killer.
  10. Restored in 2000 huh... BC or AD?

No brainer.........get rid of the 2000 mate.
  12. I second what Mossy said re semi slicks and stones. I run 16x8 225/50/16. For me the 50 looks so much better and more period correct than the lower profile look of a 45. I have Kuhmo sports and they are the best road tyre I've used - Mossys old wheels.
  13. Yeah I was thinking theyd knock it back on mods - happened to me in CBR. I would have killed for the $150 a year rego compared to $900.....
  14. Are you placing historic plates on the z?
  15. Darth Vader 240Z! Love it.
  16. You'll be hitting 300km p/h with a ratio like that!!
  17. What side of town are you Killabeez? Im northside and could pop over to point you in the right direction if required.
  18. I did all fours (willwood disc upgarade) and cannot stress enough the difference in stopping - chalk and cheese. The stock brakes are ordinary at best.
  19. Welcome mate, good stuff. Is the SR running the 6 speed box? Its not a bad little combo.
  20. Haha, I posted the same in the build forum. Looks amazing
  21. This thing will be brutal, possibly too much so. http://www.speedhunters.com/2017/10/dimmack-datsun-gtz-build/
  22. Awesome Dave!! I remember how nervous and strange I felt when my engineer was driving my 240z and stomping on the brakes during the test. No one before or since has driven it besides me. Get used to lots of staring, pointing and thumbs up, people taking pics at lights, and being bailed up to chat cars every now and then. Without sounding narcissistic, its satisfying for all the blood, sweat and tears that go into these builds. Re the exhaust: you could always get a silencer for the tip just to help get you through the engineers as a temporary solution. I Dynamated my rear end and it did make a big difference for cabin noise..
  23. $2000!!! Tell him he's dreaming. Good grief - greedy.
  24. Thats a good buy.
