Gareth im running these Kameari twin idler gears! Yes they make a sound, but to me the noise isnt that bad. They only get really loud if you over tighten them then it sounds like a hot rod lol ????

Like Gav said Either one, mostly luck of the draw. I have a F54 bored out to 90mm!!! Took a gamble with it ???? can even go 91mm as it has a really good casting.

I have a full set! Great condition been kept in a plastic box for 2 years, left the oil on them so no rust. Only thing is missing 2 washers! If your intrested let me know ;-)

Ive got the kameari manifold its supplied through EFI HARDWARE also bought 50/48/45 tapered throttle bodys from them . Talk to Steve newing he'll look after you.

I got lucky with my F54 block from my 83zx. Its bored out to 90mm but can go to 91mm if I had to. I first went out to 89.5 but the machine shop that done the job screwed up the bores. Long story but just make sure you go an accredited shop that has a clue!.

I'm running EFI hardware tapered bore 50/48/45 on 3.2stroker. Haltech Platinum sport 2000 runs it. All up Cost me $9000 new including dizzy.

Sounds like a head gasket to me. The sludge is "oil" mixed with coolant. I'd replace gasket with a metal head gasket. Not saying you should but that's what I would do.

That Cam should be fine for street! I have a reground Schneider Cam 590lift 300d 7700rev limit. Also running all the Kameari gear you have including Ld28crank/rods. 3.2 stroker streeter.

Hay Gav this is what you'll need to do to your block if you are thinking about building a stroker with the LD-28 crank you have. This gives reasurance the oil gallery plugs won't be pushed out under higher oil pressures. The other one you wan't to tap is the oil filter bypass ball bearing for the reason you don't loose oil pressure. So pull it out an put tap in there to.

You can turn the cam over to take the pressure off each rocker at a time, just watch the valves as you do it. From memory use a 14mil open end spanner, put it on the end of the rocker with some muscle lift the rocker up and over the ball retainer thingy to one side it should drop out.

Hay Gav, I had this cam on my stroker before Peter Mc/les Collins rebuilt it. Do not use it on your stock head! This thing needs head work to Work. It smashed all the Valve stem seals and the springs looked like they weren't far off from failing to. The cam fully compressors the springs (crush) plus the valves left signs of touching the top of the pistons. I wouldn't use your springs that were provided with the cam also! Get in contact with Peter mc he will tell you what you need an what to do to make it work. That's if you still want to use it now.
