I'm a 100% with Gav on sticking with the L series motor! I resently had mine built to a 3.2 stroker with fuel itbs. I just can't explain how crazy an unreal it is, the sound it makes and the torque off the cam ill just say it drives like a sports car now! You'll have second thoughts if I took you for drive.

This afternoon I made a surprise visit for a friends 12 year old sons birthday. His a big car fan, should I say "nut". His room is full of model cars/posters and and apparently he builds his own cars on line and races them for pink slips! The look on his face when I showed up was priceless, then he was to scared to get in took him for spin around the block while he film it with with one of those Go Pro cameras you race guys use. Tomorrow his going to show all his friends at his school what he got for his birthday. Hopefully I have turned him into a Datsun fan!

I wouldn't worry, I've had that before! Passed an old fart (no offence to any one hear) on the left then went in front of him cause he just sat there an didn't pass. Then I stopped at the lights he pulled up next to me yelling so I wound down the window he said I've wrote down your number plate!! All I said was thank's, good for you. nothing happened.

Howdy Chris, I own a 83zx with the T-tops. Each to there own! I just put in front/rear strut bars and a mid centre bar that sits behind the seats to each seat belt bolts. Also a good set of sway bars. Change your suspension an put in a set of coil overs! Has little to no flex now. As for the T-tops more of a novelty, you'll be lucky to take them off once a year and as far as I'm concerned only good for around town. Last time I had mine off went down the highway from Melbourne-ballarat I ended up getting third degree burns to my face from the wind!! :-\ Theres nothing like looking cool with a sun burn face. Lol

Hay Simon, It's all under control pete n les were waiting on a part for the gear box before it can all go back in. Have you got your car back on the road yet?

The best part is ill be driving it out the door I'm getting the stainless exhaust system. so Instead of doing the three hour drive up and back all the time from ballarat to Warragul. They can have the car! just drop engine and box back in then do exhaust. I just want to say i am very Impressed with pete and les's service I would recommend them to anyone in the country even in the world. There's no B,S with these guys if it don't work they'll tell you! then make it work I asked for 300+hp setup that's exactly what I got with gearbox/diff to suit! So thanks for your hard work pete/les couldn't be more happy cant wait to drive it home.
