OH Thanks. Now I will have to find a rubber strips too. This is being a full resto and I dont know to much about them.

I have removed 1" of body filler from both doors and front guards. Not sure why this body line has been filled in. Are these panels from a different model Datsun. Or has someone just filled it all in cause " that's easy". Car says 82' 280zx.

looking for good rust free doors, or new door skins, or fibreglass skins. TIA.

Thanks Hokin, how long ago did you purchase your rubber kit from Nissan. Did it take very long to arrive. Did it fit O.K.

Thanks for the replys, I will be chasing a complete rubber kit, ALL rubbers. Rear tail lights, Inner A pillar trims. The car is just old and the plastics are brittle, rubbers are hard and useless.

Very nice car, colour is nice an loud too.

HI "Z" fans, I have been scrolling this site until now. I have begun a new project, of a full restoration of this 81' 280ZX. Not my car, but a very good mate that has waited patiently for his turn. This could be a project that may slide out of control..........(gee that hasn't happened before). Anyway, we would really appreciate any information where to source OEM parts or really good A/M parts. Thanks again for adding us to this wealth of information, we will certainly contribute to discussions, and enjoy seeing other projects advance towards completion, and freedom on the roads.

Thanks for adding me to the wealth of knowledge on this site. After a few phone calls, I am no closer in finding a complete rubber kit for this new project. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
