  1. Hi Jon Yeah sorry i got your pm have been to flat out to call you. will give you a call over the weekend. Cheers Paul
  2. Hi Cogspin Sorry to tell you but unless you can do almost all the work yourself 10K is cheap. On average to blast a car repair lets say 5 rusty sections and get metal done good enough for 2mm or less of bog, high fill prime, block, prime, block and top coat you would easy spend 15 to 20. We use only PPG or Glasurit and would put 5k worth of product on your car. You may find a bog jockey to do it for less that 10k but good luck in a couple of years time. If you just want to drive it then get what you need to get done for it to pass rego and enjoy Regards Paul
  3. HI Jon Is the r200 long, Half shafts and flanges still available Regards Paul
  4. Hi Beach towel LOL Should be on the track next Friday for a practice day Regards Paul
  5. HI Its not hard to make a roof section to fill the sunroof hole. All you need is an English wheel and the ability to use it. regards Paul

  7. HI Wouldnt think it will make much diference. Make sure you flush out the engine and radiator before you put it in there could be some crap in there. regards Paul
  8. HI Peter Yep your guess was better than mine. i was thinking 280 but I'm not going to argue LOL It has turbo smart eboost hooked up to the tomei actuators and turbo smart blow off valve. As it is now its good but i want to do some track driving to iron out any flat spots Regards Paul
  9. HI Guys Here is dyno print out with power and boost, sacrificed top end for mid range and lumpy idle but i am really happy with the result Regards Paul
  10. HI Thriller I am also in the Adelaide hills, I'm more than happy to come have a look and give you any advice that you need. I restore cars for a living so may be able to give you some tips. It looks like you have some work to do. I would recommend getting at least the shell sand blasted . Will make it allot easier for you and will get rid of all the rust. Regards Paul
  11. HI Peter I'm really not bothered by what it makes, We will be mucking around with cams to give the most mid range, best torque curve so what ever its peak power is is what it is. As you would be well aware by some of the good things you have built big peak power figures are all but useless in the real world. Regards Paul
  12. HI Guys Yeah the cage is strut to strut with a million ties to the body, Think i could put the jack under the front right and change the rear left tyre its so rigid. Can totally understand how a half cage would achieve nothing when it comes to chassis strength. I have been using the car for a while now with a stock RB25 so this is really just and engine change. It was quick before with 195kwatw so add an extra 100 to that and I'm sure i will need a bit more right foot control. Next event for the car is Mt Alma Mile hill climb on 31st March and 1st April. Will go do a practice day at Mallala before then to get used to the extra performance. Regards Paul
  13. Hi All In and hooked up ready for the Dyno Hopefully next weekend Regards Paul
  14. Hi The bonnet looks abit like an early Healey And if you look in the back ground most all the other cars are British so i would guess its a modified Healey Does look good. Regards Paul
  15. HI 3M do a real good rubber glue and its black so you dont see it, cant think of the name of it Regards Paul
  16. Hi I would go the kameari seat. The other one looks a bit to modern. Is there a reason you dont want to run the standard Z seat Regards Paul
  17. HI Thanks guys Brabham The car has a substantial cage in it so twist isn't a drama. sphincter flex on the other hand is a different matter LOL Regards Paul
  18. HI All Put the engine in the car today, Just have to redo intercooler pipes etc and its off to the dyno WOO HOO Regards Paul
  19. HI We use a product called Cavity wax. works very good. I wouldnt advise putting fishoil products on till after you have painted your car, Have seen it cause reactions in paint when its done first. Regards Paul
  20. Hi Mossy I will take it pm me your details I am after a rh one aswell zed74 so if you still have the rh pm me Regards Paul
  21. Hi I used a combo of both, All the middles of the panels where done with Soda and everywhere that had some strength with sand. If you get the whole car done with Soda you will still have a lot of work to do to remove surface rust and body sealers. Definitely don't dip the car, Allot of people get that done and its bad. We had a car at work that was dipped by its owner and even 3 years later it was still seaping out of the seams. Regards Paul
  22. HI mossy Think it would be better to have the vent holes there, I would have thought Nissan would have done a bit of research back in the day. If you need measurements for the hole position i can measure mine and let you know Regards Paul
