Hi Brabham, Its a full race motor ie "H" beams, forged pistons , ported head , cams etc Got a custom twin high mount with a pair of tomei turbos and gone external oil pump aswell. Hoping for around 300kw at wheels on around 18psi, The motor will handle way more than that but i built it for reliability more than outright power. It makes it easier when your mate is a race engine builder. Z Yeah Kevins 260 is a brute of a thing, Sounds fantastic aswell. Regards Paul

Hi Good pics Lurch, where you there or a friend? As you can see by the tyre smoke on one side of the car my LSD wasn't working. Just put a 4.4 in and it wasn't tight enough and i didn't have enough time to fix it. Bummer to as i was only .5 of the best 2wd time and .4 of the top 12 shootout. Bloody had a ball and cant wait till next year , with the LSD sorted and the Rb26 will be in and sorted by then look out. That 260 2+2 had the quickest time of 42 seconds. Has GTR 4wd and 600+ hp chevy Allot off great cars where there and it was run fantastically my hat is off to the organizers of the event and the volunteers on the weekend Regards Paul

Hi Just got the mag and have to agree with PZG302. Especially when it reads like they are taking credit for Arizona Z car suspension. Ive seen much better cars here than that. Engine though is a different kettle of fish ,That looks superb and I'm assuming NZeders will be the same? Isn't he doing a webered rb26? Regards Paul

Hi Gav The reason i have a shortcut straight to the forum page is the home page takes a while to load up. Yes i do have 1500+ broadband but the home page takes significantly longer to load. So i would consider not overloading the home page if its going to make people avoid it cause of the load time. Hope that helps Regards Paul

Hi Gav You know its amazing how useful the internet is now days for finding bits and pieces. I don't use any one spot , Useally google or ebay what I'm looking for then troll through the million hits you get, very time consuming. For the workshop we use suppliers such as motor traders, rare spares etc etc for anything that we think is still available but as we specialize in old cars most of the time is spent phoning yes that's right phoning our old parts contacts that wouldn't no what the net was let alone email. Think back 20 years before the net, How did we get any work done is beyond me. Some sort of Parts Google would be useful to say the least. Something to sort out the Actual parts from the wasted web pages. You know what would be good as well. If it only came up with pages or adds that have been listed or modified in say the last 6 months. Nothing worse than getting excited cause you found a part then realize it was listed 10 bloody years ago. Regards Paul

But the one in you pic looks more like the bristol. Very hard to tell without seeing the grill. Do a search of the other cars ive mentioned if you like that look. Regards Paul

HI Guys As some of you guys know I'm restoring an early 240 what you don't know is it does not have the original engine in it I am in the process of trying to get past owners of the car details to find said engine. Now what i am thinking is starting a thread where people can list the engine number of what they are looking for and hopefully someone may know of its where abouts IE in there car. I have 2 240 motors that do not belong to my car and would gladly give them or should i say sell them back to the owner of there original body. I'm sure there are a lot of cars with the wrong engine this might be a good way to send them home. I would more than happily pay a good sum to get my original engine back even if its rooted. What are your opinions and what problems could this cause if any. Regards Paul

HI John I tend to agree that people should assist in the day to day costs involved with this sight as the information and assistance people can get is fantastic. But isn't that what the "CHIP IN" On the home page is for. As i have the Shortcut in my Favourites to go straight to the Forum i never knew that the "CHIP IN" was there until a month or so ago when i clicked on the home page and saw it and promptly well "CHIPPED IN" I think if every one done this occasionally that would be enough. Maybe everytime you get some great or helpful information of the sight put 5 or 10 bucks into the "CHIP IN" on the home page. Regards Paul
