"Ordered from new with the mag wheels that it wears today, the sale also includes the standard steel wheels and hubcaps that have never seen road use." The wheels and hubcaps would have to be worth $200.00-$2500 based on what I have seen lately.

Hi Ross, I have had a good look at this car and unless you have a money tree stay away. My first thoughts were that the car had been submerged in water, I can guarantee that once you started to look for rust it would never stop. I offered the seller $3K as all the car is good for is salvaging engine, suspension (all needing full reco) etc. The car could be restored but I would budget $70K + to end up with an ordinary car. I just found this image in a magazine and this car definitely ran fuel injection on an L series. This car was running the same time as the LY28 powered car. Anyone ?

I am looking to put a set of Recaro Specialist seats into my 240z (image below). I have checked around and it seems that you can use bride seat rails (image attached) to suit some Recaro's, Bride also have the rails specific for S30 z's. Does anybody know which bride rail will suit the Recaro Specialist seat ? I have contacted Ideal Seat who are the Recaro distributors for Oz and they tell me there is no Recaro rails that bolt into a S30. Any help would be good. Z good job, your car is coming together nicely. I found that putting the interior together was very time consuming. Also like all the small personal touches you are adding like clock and speedo. Zeds were good 40 years ago but can always do with some modern improvements.

the handles you get from black dragon will not be genuine, try msa or an ebayer called the the-z-connexion as they have genuine parts. I purchased my handles from Courtesy Nissan along with many other genuine parts. all these suppliers are good if you don't jerk them around, i have purchased $000's worht of gear from them all, no problems. all z parts in hornsby could also help which would also save the risk of damaging the chrome strips from the us. cheers.

Hello All, Does anyone know of a manufacturer that has used 16" steel wheels with 4 x 114.3 PCD. S13 space savers are an option but I cannot get a clear answer as to whether they are 15" or 16". Anyone know? The list shows cars that have the same PCD but most I think are 14" and 15" I am wanting to modify the wheels so I can run original hubcaps. Due to the weight of the rims I am not going to run them all time. Cheers, Aaron

Hey, Just going back the LED dashlight question, they do dim but you need it to be very dark and look very hard. You will then see a slight change. The LED's you are wanting will be BA9S type globes, I have converted my car and I recommend going with the wide angle units (120 degree) as I originally used 50 degree and they were useless, SMD's are better again. The link below is for a guy I have been happy with. http://www.brightlightautoparts.com/LEDReplacementGlobes.html T7 are what you would you use in the original radio. When I converted all globes to LED I had to solder load resistors into both tail light looms, without these every time I hit the brakes the radio illuminated and 2 of the auxillary gaugers lit up ?
