Does anyone know the part numbers for the shims that go behind the brake pads on the MK63 calipers? I tried these part numbers: 41079-68200 early type (inner and outer are the same) 41084-F2000 and 41085-F2000 (inner and outer) and then 41084-F2001 and 41085-F2001 but all were NLA any insight would be fantastic ! Thanks also if anyone is interested there is a seal kit on Ebay for $65 delivered from Japan http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PITWORK-NISSAN-SEAL-KIT-SEAL-GASKET-KIT-AY600NS053-GENUINE-/262493450467

Dat2Kman is right , you dont need the extension housing . I am not even sure the s14 internals would work in the old 71b extension housing . if any one else is reading and needs a 240z 71b extension housing I also have one collecting dust and a bluebird 5 speed with no front housing also have a bluebird style shifter ... and 3.9 speedo drives to get rid of

The stuff on RHS japan is usually pretty good to go... they take 3 and 1/2 weeks to get your order ready and then DHL get it to you in about 2 days! I have bought a "Kameari" triple manifold last year which is Harada Shokai brand and i rate as a top quality product My interpretation of Kameari branded stuff it is like the Repco of Japan. They don't make anything themselves they just put their sticker over the top of everyone elses stuff and well marketed. But their products are made in Japan and great quality , Repco's stuff....... hit and miss sadly these days

patrol was a big bulky bracket

i noticed a 1980s bluebird at a wreckers once that was much simpler ,that would be my guess . al the other factory ones have these heavy cast things that are aweful. i have got plenty of those even an NOS one 280zx could be a possibility ....

Hi Lance , I kitted my 240 out with AC a couple of summers ago. which compressor do you have, Diesel Kiki, Hitachi or something else? i think realistically you would have to throw away the whole bracket and pulley setup and get a new one from the USA or a later model L series powered car. The US companies mention fitting a Sanden Style compressor which is just a chinese version of a quality Japanese compressor. The chinese one would probably be ok but by the time you ship a cheap compressor from the US you may as well buy the best. I think i paid $450 for a Sanden compressor from Ashdown Ingram. The bracket i acquired randomly bolted to the L series engine but didn't have any pulley system so I welded up some bits and pieces to get it to work. If i was to do it again and didn't stumble across the random bracket i found . I think i would buy the bracket only from the US, get it here and source the rest locally . the US bracket has adjustment in it already. the Sanden Compressor is a SD7H15 these can run a cool room on a catering truck , are compact and look the part. I have attached a pic of mine

now on ebay... 99 cent auction... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240Z-Original-Steering-Wheel-in-good-condition-/132172511672?hash=item1ec61879b8:g:ePAAAOSwvihZAIMD

Up for sale the steering wheel from my 240z it is in good condition overall and has come from a 73 model. there are no nicks or scratches in the "wooden" ring but the black centre has a little paint flaking here and there. i think it has been repainted at some point as it seems to have a bit of a wrinkle paint finish in some spots the horn button is also in good condition and included. splines in the centre of the wheel are fine as is the horn slip ring. this steering wheel could do with a bit of a clean up and if the centre bars were sanded back and repainted I am confident the presentation of this wheel could be improved greatly with minimal effort. all in all though still presents well and has been looked after There are a few websites where people restore these and don't think it is too difficult: https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=restore+240z+steering+wheel asking $300 here before it goes on Ebay Thanks,

240Z / 260Z Plastic Window Winder Regulator Rollers
Gtv240z replied to Gtv240z's topic in Parts and Tools for Sale
Hi, Thanks for your interest! Are your 3 rollers and larger plastic collars still intact and appear undamaged? and yes there are 3 per mechanism and would need to be welded in if replaced. If yours all appear to be fine i am not sure that replacing with new would be necessary. if your window was a bit stiff it may be because of other issues. - window felts worn out creating slop/play int the window allowing it to kick over slightly and wind up unevenly. - there is also another guide roller in the top of the door which you can buy new from the US. - the mechanism may also need general cleaning and greasing. - inside door window guides out of position... what does your mechanism look like currently? here is a post from NZ it has the another roller in one of the pics https://zclub.nz/viewtopic.php?p=20818&sid=5d62fecbc695791fdf2d1796f2e5ee19 Cheers, Craig -

Hi all, Just thought i would post up some pictures of a winder mechanism that received 2 new rollers, 2 new bushes and 2 new pins welded in. If any one needs one repaired just let me know , some rough pricing in previous post and extra pins or large plastic washers add $10 each to roller pricing. Thanks -
