Datsun 240z 260z 1600 180b etc Genuine Nissan Thermostat Housing Top & Bottom Covers These are a genuine Nissan item and have a very nice metallic finish not found on other aftermarket roughly cast housings. please also note it is a 2 bolt which was original to 240z 260z 1600 and 180b i think . later model 280zx etc vintage was a 3 bolt unit . Top Housing $30 Bottom Housing $60 gaskets included $10 for postage australia wide i also have the thermostats for $30 , regular temp and lower temp version

My original plan was to make a factory style air cleaner for triples, historic rego rules here in SA just became much more relaxed, which was half my motorvation, and I put a heat shield on the other day which won't work so decided bugger it not interested in that any more, revolve the budget and buy some other bits for the zed. There a ding in the back cover which isn't much and the intake has a tear in it which is it downfall but could be welded up. Don't know what it's worth, Might go best offer by end of the weekend can have it, I and can post with E-go or pickup business hours or weekend.

I have just bought all the bits to make them and looks the same as the MotorSport Auto / OEM look , These will also include the male connector on the zed's wiring loom so both plugs are fresh white instead of fresh white into faded / dirty socket. or you can just slide the brand new brass terminal into the old faded plastic housing for the authentic, vintage look. annoyingly everything had to be bought in large quantities.. so if anyone needs one let me know . I'll put a pic up or post in the classified section once the wire comes in , i am also getting a couple of different amperages

Do you still have original style mechanical fan? the viscous clutch is probably stuffed. if your not leaking coolant and with the cap of can see good coolant circulation your stat should be open and waterpump probably working well. these clutches are pretty prone to failure

just wondering if any one can sell me a pair of front brake backing plates for my 240z ? I am not sure but would assume 260z backing plates are the same?? If someone could confirm that would be fantastic! Attached is a pic of the plates i am talking about Let me know if you can help me out, ones that require a bit of panel beating or repair will be fine, good ones also very happily accepted Thanks Craig

you can still get the knobs new but are a bit expensive at $24 US plus freight , be ok if you are ordering some other stuff too. i also email this supplier and ask for a freight cost as the computer generated one is overpriced , the supplier always replies with a cheaper price for the freight i bought 1 last year and pretty sure it didnt come with the screw . a walk through a local self serve wreckers you'd probably find most japanese cars have the same screws for something like that or as mentioned above , jaycar, etc https://zcardepot.com/interior/heater-control-knob-oem-240z-70-73.html?search=240z+heater&page=1

did you find a OEM looking replacement for the fusible link? i am doing an engine bay makeover and want/need to replace the fusible link
