Stock 280zx injectors flow 188cc. Easiest upgrade is go for VL Commo RB30 Turbo injectors, BUT you will need a ecu to control them. If your stock injects are no goid, i got a set of cleaned and flowed ones here, as well as a set of Bosch Motorsports, used.

I wish, no, finished the 15 lap race 9th out of 33 starters, on the last lap, Browning ( Porker) got me up in the "Tits" section, my brakes were just not retarding, pedal was very low, and was using the box/engine to help slow down. Tyres were somewhat soft jelly like too!i still cant work out how i managed to actually pull off the "lets pass two at once going into corner at end of front straight" manouvre. Musta had an eyes clsed and sphincter grabbing the seat cushion moment! Overall a good weekend, i qualified with a 1.43.01, and fastest lap in races for me was a 1.42.56 There is plenty more potential for a younger more capable and aggresive driver, who knows the circuit well, and then it'd be well in top 5!

What a great weekend, i last played here at this track, actually the "old" short track, last, in 1982 ! Yes, i am that old! Couldn't get it right then, and now in 2012, still couldn't get it right! I reckon i took a different line through the big left sweeper on every lap! Best of all, my pit biatches, Lurch, Peter Mc and Chevzed gave me moral support all weekend, and made sure i was fed and watered. The car? It needed nothing, it's a Datsun! Now, anyone get any pics? Or care to add a bit of a blurb from the spectators point of view, on how to scare the living bejeebus out of two Porsches at the same time? Update, now has had extensive top end ( head ) work done by Les Collins and Peter McDonnel. After a minor issue at PI6 hour event, , all work done and completed in time for Historic Winton, the following weekend. Lap times in the 1.42's/ 1.43's on Winton long track, last weekend. Hold fastest race lap records at other circuits. There is further development posdible in this as well as the spare engine, especially in the heads and manifolds, and still complying with CAMS Historic requirements. Can also provide a comprehensive spares package, including close ratio boxes, LSD diffs, complete ready to assemble spare developed race spec engine, flowed manifolds, selection of rims and tyres for both GpS and Tarmac. Spares available with car, or to be sold seperate after car sold.

oh dear, the minds of the warped are but effusive!!! Guysm a heads up, the VHRR ( Victorian Hysteric Racing mob) have set the dates for the big classic race meeting, for, March 7/8/9/10, with the AGP the following weekend, and the Nissan Nats on the weekend after! Any wanting to get a little more track action at PI, could do well to consider entering the Regularity divisions of the VHRR Classic event, plenty of track time, over the three days of competition, and gives you an "eye in" for the Nats!

car 13C the ever reliable dark blue 280Z Group Sc Historic car, met it's demise, around 1.30pm mid event, which left Team 13 with just 3 cars and four drivers to soldier on! on pullingthe rocker cover a very broken valve spring, a dislodged rocker, and a broken lash cap was found. On the trailer for it. GGGRRRR BUT, to the rescue was Pete Mac on here, he got the Datsun Guru of Australia, Les Collins, to prepare his workshop for the dead Zed to arrive that afternoon, and on head removal and teardown, a further four more valve springs were found broken, and four inlet valves had cracks where the head tulips into the stem, along with valve heads of varying margin diameters, and a lot of WTF's going on. Head off to Woods for machioning, and fitting new valves without cracks, cam off to Wades for a bit of a kiss and fondle, all new valves, some DECENT valve springs ( enough of the supposed Mackay Qld rubbish), reset the top end, and getting fitted. All under the very watchfull eye of Les Collins, with Magic Pete weilding the spannaz! WHY It is entered at this weekends Winton Festival of Speed full Historic race meeting, featuring the 15 lap Rose City Historic Tourist Trophy race for all Group S cars, at around 2 pm on Sunday, with plenty other races as well. How did it go at PI? it was not fitted with its usual PI diff ratio, as the emphasis is on the Winton event, it had very tall tyres to compensate, but I managed it into the 2.01's. in past at historic meets it has done 1.55's at PI would i do the PI 6 hour again? probably not, as, I get better "value" from doing the very intense full door to door historic circuit race meets at PI. In 2013, the PI Historic meet has been set for March 7/8/9/10, and just two weeks later, same track, the Nissan Datsun Nationals are on 23/24 March, with some dinky race around an Albert Park Lake in Melbourne in between! Aiming to be there, IF I CAN !!!

Dimitri, we pretty well all arive on Friday, to set up, Saturday is practice and qualifying, to determine our lap times we think we can circulate consistently in, then, on Sunday is the 6 hour event proper, not sure on start time, check their website.we pretty wrll have the stuff we need. Well, i have a 5 digit odo on two cars here, both 44 years old, one is a genuine 12xxx km, and other is genuine 86xxx kms. Only driven on around 10 weekends a year, for just a couple of hours, hard!

The inside top edge/ledge above front wheels, under the fendars/guards. Rear wheel arches, where it is double folded, front doglegs and rear quarters. Around the rear hatch. Tired faded old scratched paintwork is far better to assess body shell, than a shiny brand new coat, that can hide plenty! If all above is mnor or nil issue, then this car will get 12 k

Can Z enthusiasts influence Nissan? In a word, NO Unless there is around 50,000 potential buyers who are prepared to pay around 30 to 35 k for a spirty type car. Biggest issue is that most early Z enthusiasts whinge and bitch and moan about paying any more than 11,000 for a VGC early Z. Why would Nissan think for one minute that these cheap car buyers would be prepared to fork out 35 k on a car! These new hot sporty RWD cars are cashing in in an image, indirectly the BMW drive experience, as wrll as the Subaru AWD influencegurss what, those markets are the ones who aspire to a BMW or a Subie WRX, but are on a beers budget. Nissan have marketing people that know the early Z enthusiast will not buy, in mass, in the quentities required, a rebirthed 240Z

Up here in Hicksville, it is a lot simpler, and there are many that initially comply, then dont bother renewing with a club, all a bit loose and free, and no log book or number of days.
