  1. Awesome work Pete, I'll look forward to reading your article about it all.
  2. Thanks tir33d. Peter, If you were here yesterday I could've taken you for a strap but I'll be away next Monday. Send me a message next time and I'll convert you from this 'Nissan engine only' thing you've got going on
  3. So one reckons you need more turbulence and the other reckons you need none? Maybe we should end this couch debate now.
  4. I totally agree about laminar airflow through the air flow meter which I'm hoping dat240z was on about, hence the reasons hey have screens and vains in the meters themselves. The actual turbos requiring laminar airflow is a new one Turbos create their own uniform inflow. How many turbos do you see on big $$ engines sitting out in the open without any intake pipe or filter on them at all. Dont see the flow into those getting upset?
  5. Still got it Scott. I get at least 3 serious bites a week and had several offers but it hasn't moved home as yet.
  6. A 140Z http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/09/bryn-car-feature/
  7. Umm what??
  8. I couldn't work out how to fit my BD ones either, the channel is completely different. Not even glue could help them go on.
  9. I understand your concern but if you think about it, B&M make this shifter to suit almost all cars, so they're pretty confident you can make it work. If the factory bracket on the auto only lets the cable travel 15mm and the B&M travels 10mm (using your example) you just lower the point that the cable attaches to the linkage on the trans to minimise the radius of the circle and thus, less travel (10mm). I had a Pro Ratchet shifter in one of my VL Turbos and its was wicked for quick shifts while battling the wheel to keep the car straight. Not sure if I'd like it in a street car though.
  10. Its more so about making a custom bracket that bolts to your auto that allows the B&M cable to work the factory gear selector on the side of the box. Apart from that it just bolts onto your trans tunnel and you're away.

  13. I've got an L28 head and I'm heading down to brissy in two weeks.
  14. As above Peter, I think you'll run out of ground clearance before running low on tyre to tub clearance?
  15. Excuse me

  17. Pretty sure it just stops at the boot floorheight peter so all the rocks and mud flick up over your shiny mufflers. You could always extend them like in your pic?
