  1. Nice work scoot. What was smoking/steaming at the end?
  2. Dammit Peter. If I won that 100 million the other night, I'd get that thing finished for you so you could just enjoy it for a few years.
  3. I go back to work Monday. Keep trying me it'll line up eventually.
  4. Thanks for your offer Peter but its a lot to ask someone. It is fully insured with Shannons, but the risks involved and the time you'd have to put in to talk to dreamers while they look at it would not be worth it. Plus, I like to take people for a drive in it and put big smiles on their faces if you know what I mean, and I would not like someone else doing that in car my unless they owned it.
  5. Yes I agree with you 100%, but it's easier said than done.
  6. Sorry to hear Jason. You showed up more than your fair share of people out on the track and for that you should be proud.
  7. We'll keep saying it dimitri and he'll give in eventually.
  8. Look at that sexy remote oil filter.
  9. Yep Carsales and Gumtree. Both have had heaps of enquires and it gets 70 odd detailed views a day according to my carsales weekly report but my 'remote' location must be working against me. If you were interested and inspected the car and drove it, you'd buy it.
  10. Well it looks like the sale has fallen through. The guy has dropped off the edge of the earth. Price drop to 21K.
  11. The triton and rodeo weren't really on my list of potentials but I might have a look now??
  12. We've got one of these as a family car and do heaps road trips and pull the tinny. Got around 16L/100 when we lived in Townsville but since moving to Gladstone which is much hillier, the fuel consumption has risen heaps. Awesome car to drive around in town or on the highway. Once I sell the zed and the clubby I want to buy a common rail intercooled turbo diesel dual cab so Ive been looking at the hilux or the navara from 2005 to 2008 ish. Apparently the 2.5L navara can get into the 10's depending how you drive it?
  13. Hey thanks for callIng in today Charlton. It was good to finally meet you. I'll have to come and see your zed one day.
  14. Get a brand new one. They are pretty cheap. Or I've got an old 240z one but you had to find the sweet spot to get it to kick over.
  15. For sure mate. How's next week sound?
  16. Yes it is a shame. I found myself a little depressed yesterday but also happy to take these two young fellas for a strap and show them what theyd been expecting after a 8-9hr drive. I'll only believe it when the car leaves my garage though.
  17. Sold pending payment....... :'(
  18. That's your biggest factor there Scoot. You can't really tar all of the V8 brigade with the same brush as most have lighter engines than standard. That, and how low or stiff you want it.
  19. There's just something about installing fuel systems, pumps, speedflow fittings and regulators that gets me a little excited. Hope you feel the same. Keep the pics coming.
  20. I agree about making your accountant responsible for not notifying you and using that as your defence against the rest?? Sorry to hear of the situation regardless....
  21. I see what you did there
  22. Nice diff brace. Got any pics of it fitted or at least in position?
  23. Might be planing a zed special edition
  24. Ha ha. How'd you get that last photo?
  25. I had a call from 'Zoom' magazine the other day. They want to do an article on my car if they can bribe someone to come up this far to take pics of it
