Thanks mate. So you need a pic taken from a higher angle. Only the two outside pipes are connected, the inner pipes are dummies. Gives people an idea anyway. Maybe someone else has a pic of theirs.

You're becoming quite the Auto expert Scooter. There's some pretty comprehensive rebuild article on the web isn't there. I've installed kits in some of those autos as well.

I think we should clarify that most of us here are only interested in adding a splitter to a shaved rear end for aesthetic purposes only. These are street cars. We don't need to debate whether they will work or not. We know they won't, hence the reason we've mentioned pinching ones from existing road cars. Nice job Patch. Can you use any of these 'nicer' ones?

What does the 370z's diffuser look like. Keeping it in the family and everything. Or even those new 350GT's???

How about Monaco. It was nice of webby to hold back the rest of the field so vettel could cut some nice laps then all of a sudden his Tyres 'turn on' when vettel pits but because they took a bit longer than expected vettel didn't come back out in first. Would vettel do that for webber?

Maybe there's some extra fuel going in during decceleration and its fouling the plugs for when you take off again. Sticky injector or something.

Nice job man. You and your new car (and you and your dad) had some great bonding time. Reminds me when I flew from Townsville to Armidale (via Brisbane) to pick up a VL Turbo just from looking at heaps of pics. Me and the missus drove it approx 2000kms home in two days. This was before I got to know how dodgy the electrics are on VLTs and I didn't have one tools with me, but never needed one the whole way. Very lucky. Had to top up every 350kms though as it had the wrong type of coolant temp sender and was running extremely rich, plus we were flogging it to get home. Keep the story going.

I'd be interested to see how your exhaust looked during the power loss. Like if it was dumping fuel or not. Did you say you had carbs or the previous owner had carbs?

So the hose that you checked the fuel flow from was after the pump and fuel filter 'in the engine bay'?? Could be a blockage in the tank.

If you think Clark Rubber is expensive then maybe dont try a motor trimmer Maybe you had a bad experience with Clark Rubber. I've always had good ones. They're always willing to help out and usually prices are reasonable.

I've got that same set up. ....... and the same noise. I take it you've tried soft mounting it to the bracket to reduce the vibration from the pump transferring through the body?

Looks subtle Scoot. If you didn't know Zeds any better you'd think that was a factory bonnet. That will help the engine bay breathe too.

Might be a stalk issue? I noticed the old Zed sealed beams draw a huge current. Maybe check for a melted wire too. My fuel pump noise and my volt meter change considerably when I turn my lights on.

Youd have to double check but I removed a mates once to install coil overs and the spring diameter is like a commodores, like 200mm wide. Wouldnt even go near fitting up a zed strut hole.
