  3. Chuck the pics up in this thread....It is still a Japenese old school car and a Tasmanian one at that. I would like to see it.
  4. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=117607 This one looks very close to your design
  5. Found this on hybridz. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=137264&highlight=turbo+itb&page=2
  6. This really would be nice but unfortunatly the money must be used on other parts of the car. I am planning on rebuilding my L28 Turbo in about 6-8 months, It would be ideal then. Sorry with my terminology, Inlet cone is Underground Mine Ventilation terminology for the same thing.
  7. This is not my car, but the box in the back certainly was an odd finding.
  8. You mean the front apron panel infront of the radiator, Or do you mean the ventilation cowl panel where the window wipers are?
  9. Yeah just a few minor things lol

    2+2 Carpet Kit

Sounds like the set I bought years ago. A series of mats. Not a true one piece moulded set.
  11. I am in the hat
  12. Justin Your girlfriend has good taste. You will be lucky to find one in Tassie, I think there was a 260Z 2+2 in Evandale not long ago it wa on ebay and from memory had a VG30DE in it. Make sure you read the forums etc. I think there is someone doing a VH45 conversion now. Me personally would stick with the L series engine which you can get up to 2.8L in. If you stroke it with a diesel crank your looking at 3.1L-3.2L. Or go an RB25DET or RB26DETT good strong engines with grunt and also keeps the inline six of the original zed cars. Goodluck with it Hunter

    2+2 Carpet Kit

Me having the 74 and 75 2+2 thought they were all the same. I did buy a carpet kit for my 2+2 that covered the gearbox tunnel as well. But this was still fitted mats not moulded. Do they make a moulded set for the 240Z?

    2+2 Carpet Kit

The original carpet was a cut carpet set, with vinyl over the gear box tunnel etc.
  15. I am interested but sadly have other things the money can go to on my new car. Do you have throttle linkages? I am guessing the ECU uses the vacum pressure to calculate airflow? Do webber inlet cones fit onto this manifold?
  16. Pic looks better than what I have. How much do you want for it? I have a few map lights and map light surrounds which should make it look reasonably neat.
  17. Ya HARSH on the gear Mayhem..... There was flares for sale on www.thezgararge.com
  18. That will work for road worthy but I really do need the heaters as well. It is cold down here in Tassie. I do have a blower motor etc, just need the front fascia.
  19. No problems the classiczcar thread above may be of use to you.
  20. Can the bolts in the strut tower tops be replaced? One of mine is stripped.
  21. I know this is an old post but my 1974 260Z 2+2 has a mechanical fuel pump, stock standard. I think it was 1975 when our 260Z's may have changed. In my 1975 260Z 2+2 the seat belts have different mountings etc. I am guessing that one would have come with and electric fuel pump.
  22. Yeah I just noticed them myself. Has anyone in Australia fitted power windows to their zed? Here is a post from classiczcar http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20276&highlight=power+windows
  23. no problems Sulio Cheers Hunter
