To make sure, measure the height of your clutch and compare with the new one; if there is a major difference, you have to find a matching thrust bearing carrier to suit. There are about 3-4 different ones that I have seen.
I'm thinking that "Kevin" just wanted to take out that 370 but without taking himself out as well. That's why I think he was pissed off..The 370 obviously passed him on the inside and being right hand drive could see him easily, aimed the car and hit him on the quarter panel on purpose...instead of just backing off for a second and let him pass...
One from the US might be a better long term option; over there it would be a passenger side reg which means less wear than a drivers side from here. Just something to consider.
I found a good one from a Holden Jackeroo that works pretty well; I was sick of rummaging through bins at MSCA events looking for used soft drink bottles to use. I don't think zeds had one factory fitted; the hose ran along the top of the radiator and down the side on to the ground.
Some Repco's let you browse through their collection of hoses so you may be able to find one with a similar bend that you need from another model. I've done that in the past with some success.
Start yes, stop no... you may live a little longer if you trailer it..
Got someone coming over again today to inspect so if he decides not to get it, 2nd can decide yea or nea.
I'd recommend rivnuts instead of rivets; rivets may be quick and easy to install, but if you ever have to remove them, drilling them out is a PITA. I can supply everything you need to install if you decide on using them.
In my 240Z now I have some 260Z indicators fitted with the 2 seperate globes, but kept safely for a rainy day I have my original restored front indicator lights with only one bulb holder. I can take a pic if needed.
The early 240Z indicators had the single globe but with the 21W/5W dual filament. One for park/position and the 21W for the indicator which was white with no internal amber lens.
Shan, that 2+2 I have is still in one piece; it has to remain that way for some more time. If anyone can help for now that would be great. I may be another week or so...
Hey Sulio, Scoota put his hand up first, he's coming to inspect today. Lurch is right with the details Loui, I just borrowed (stole) the pics Ben took of it when he bought it.
