Nobody's got Zeds anymore, it's too hot, we sold them all and now driving cars with power steering and air conditioning..........

+1 Remind him if he does change his mind, to give you 1st offer on it. When I bought my Zed, when negotiating, we agreed that I offer it back to him 1st dibs if I decide to sell which is unlikely, but you never know. In the meantime, I gave him one of my 120Y's.

We originally got the idea for crushing hoons' cars from the USA and stats report that its is doing nothing to change peoples behaviour. The "crushing" clause is only supposed to be for repeat offenders so it's not likely you will lose your car for "accelerating enthusiastically" from the traffic lights. You don't necessarily have to have a nice car to drive like a knob so imho, car crushing is not a deterrent. Increase the fines and extend the suspensions/licence cancellations. Monetary penalties and long suspensions where people realize that you can lose your job and livelihood without a licence should hit home. I think it should be made more difficult to get your licence, not easier and better training. Too many people regard a drivers licence as their god-given right, not a privilege. Lol, check out my personal collection I used to sell ebbro via my online store and ebay, but the Hong Kong sellers undercut Aussie sellers to the point it was not profitable. The 1:24 scale are exquisite. I have a red and a white 240Z in this scale, also the brown 240ZG. Last time I checked the 1:24's retailed for about AU$195 and the 1:43's for AU$50-$99. Ebbro's are now no longer limited production. The older ones were and for example Datsun 1200 utes and 1600 4drs were regularly fetching AU$100+ on ebay. I have a cheap trolley jack from Kmart, i'd say its probably 10+years old. When I stop jacking it up, it drops approx 1/2 inch then seems to hold ok. I would never get under a car without stands of course, my question is, are these old jacks dangerous? Is it possible for the hydraulics to just let go and the car come crashing down on the discs?

+1 Thats correct, within 24 hrs. Used to be called a "P4" self reporting form. After 24hrs you are just relying on the other persons honesty. If you haven't already, get yourself down to the local cop shop and insist on making a report.
