Has anyone in Sydney have a factory door mirror that I can trial fit? I have tried the Tex stainless steel mirrors but they don't cover up the hole that is about the size of a 10cent piece I have in my drivers door. cheers, Mike

It was a great day for it. Met D.O.G (Peter), Veloce (Mike) and caught up with OldZman(Loui) and Brabham(Alex). Also Aaron with the white 240Z, that Zed is perfection. It was no suprise that it cleaned up multiple trophies. Should have taken more pics

Oh Peter, the memories come flooding back! :'( This is the "one that got away" for me, the one that I refer to in my very first post on this forum. Even before Peter sent a mate to look at this Zed down in Canberra, I phoned the owner and offered him his asking price sight unseen as he seemed honest and straight-up with the description of the car. Problem was, he was too honest and straight up and told me that he had promised Peter first dibs, and would call me if Peter didn't buy it..... Well the call never came and the rest is history and I bought another silver Zed. Hope you can keep it for your sons. If I didn't value my marriage I would buy this Zed in a heartbeat!

I bought my centre console for my 260 2 seater new in box from AllZparts Hornsby, only thing is the lid opens the other way for LHD as luvemfast stated. Best give Warren a call at AllZparts a call first, but be patient, it seems a part-time thing for him, might take a while to answer the phone and I think he has forgotten his email password so don't even bother emailing them. I would be a little pissed off driving a fair distance to arrive and finding out it was cancelled. But as Stevo pointed out Mark did post on the original thread (#19)on Thurs as soon as weather forecasts started to predict bad weather. Also, Alan you wouldn't happen to have the phone number of the club member who told you that it had been cancelled two weeks earlier would you? I want a tip for the Melbourne Cup! Hi Chris, not going to the race as I am working the weekend, still miss the Group A days. You are staying quite far from the track, does your tickets include public transport to the race? I can meet up for Sat 4th for Brekkie or lunch,let see if some of the other boys can make it. Mike

cool, upto a couple of months ago I had 2 120Y's as well as the Zed. Each time the missus tells me she's pregnant, I sell a Datsun. Let's hope this one's a girl to go with my son Benjamin so I don't have to sell the Zed as well-I'm down to my last Datto

Damn it Anh, you're no good to me with no licence! I have heaps of parts that I want to sell (120Y, not Zed parts ) won't fit into the Zed but I have a spare vehicle. Need another driver

Good onya Loui. I also have a kinked one somewhere in the shed. Just had a quick look, found 3 120Y sticks but not the zed one. Will have a better look on the weekend. Have to clear out all the 120Y stuff

Hi, what type of 5 speed is it? eg from a L series or RB? I swapped my auto for a RB30 box and had the same problem as you. Thomas (nuclear_z) from this forum fixed it for me. He made a cut from the front side, bent it back and filled the "<" with a weld. Took 2 mins. If it is a L series have a look at your stick, is it straight or has a kink? If it is straight get a kinked one from the wreckers and might be simple fix. Mike
