    Thanks guys I was a bit concerned that a set of triple 40MM Dellortos would be a bit much for a stock L26 with a slight cam. Just wanted a good set of carbies to replace the SU's Where is the best place to get a set?

    Also I seem to scare people away by showing them everything I have found wrong with it At least I can sleep at night. You are right, its the good time to buy, not to sell By the way, I do have a set of 240 seats that go with the car, but no new dash! Interesting that in the Redbook that a 2 seater same age is only worth $500 more and I would bet if this was not a 2+2 it would pull $9k easy.

    The after market ones they fit to the Patrols with the L series engines are the ones to get. I bought one from a mob in Brisbane but they ahve stores around Australia. I will see if I can find the info.

    My son's car leaks a heap of water through what he believes to be around the windscreen rubbers. The wipers are damaging the seal, is that common? What is the best fix? Is there other spots it could be coming in from if he is getting water in on the floor in the front?

    clutch help

    One suggestion with bleeding the clutch, put a hose on the bleed nipple so you can direct the fluid to a jar and not spray it all over the car as it will peel off anything it touches. Also if the hose is clear you can see the air bubbles so you know when you are done. Last thing, make sure with all the pumping you do not empty the reservoir because they you have to do it all again.
