I am having the first week of the school holidays off to spend time with the cheese and kisses down the Coast but may be able to get away for a night/afternoon but this is not until 22nd Sept... Not sure if that suits, but am keen and may be able to get my boy along with his too!

Thanks, will get it checked as soon as the the boy has some money It will save him another set of rears I am sure. I would have hoped that Bob Jane's would have mentioned that when they fitted them the first time!

Thanks guys, the tyres wear very evenly across the tyre, would they wear this way with a toe in issue? Can you adjust the toe in?

Was wondering if any one has fitted these to a Zed, to me that look good and I think would suit. Anyone one got photos of them fitted?

My son's 260Z 2+2 is going thru rear tyres Put a set on Michellins on it thinking that he would get some more k's but worn them out in less than 20,000k Is this common? It does have a bit of rear end movement, not sure if that is related? He tells me he is not doing burn outs!

Welcome aboard and welcome to a non EFI engine. Its always a battle, especially when they are cold. With SU carbies you can never be sure when you take off what will happen.... I would get the carbies professionally tuned as well as an electrical tune. Post some photos of the rocket. -

I am very time poor, live Brisbane - work in Sydney, during the week is a nightmare. If there is a get together, I would love to come but could not be sure to get there. Keep them posted and I would see if I could get there

Bursons I found to be the best, quoted $175 and dropped it to $150 when I picked it up. Repco were $180 and no stock, Supercheap were $130 but did not know if it was the right one

Wrote of my first car (Datsun 1600) after one week of having my license and saving for the car for 4 years doing the same thing except I hit a "Keep Left" sign. My son, who knew my story, did the same in his first Z (280ZX) but like you was luck not to hit anything. Apparently its an age thing!

Great looking rocket. How does it work buying them from Tokyo? Do you bid for it based on photos and report and they buy it, import and deliver it to you?

Why don't you try Paul at Zbitz, he will have a few gearboxes there in different prices and conditions. I also assume as you bought an Auto you will be after the other bits too, which he should have. The best thing about Paul is that he is in Qld!

Why is the box wrong? I thought if it fitted a L24 engine it would bolt straight onto a L26? Where is the problem? Is this the one on eBay?

Gearboxes suit many cars, the gear lever is specific to the model of car you want it to fit. You will probably need a 260Z lever for this one, but must admit from photo it looks close to a 260 lever. One thing I do know, teh Bluebird one does not fit....!
