Maybe its all too much now and that is why you have the issue with the missus. Just remember the harder things are to get, the more you appreciate and enjoy them in the end

From what is on the market at the moment the red one in Vic (carsales.com) looks the best value at sub $7k. The red one in Vic on carsales you would probably get for a bit less than $6k he is looking for offers. Just think about it first, if you buy one that needs some work the 6 turns into 15. If you buy one that does not need work you have a better starting point (that is, no rust!) and will cost you less. PS. Mine is the green one in Qld, I am trying to keep the prices up!

It is important whenever you buy a car off the net, as I did, that you look at the photos with a pessimistic view as the car will always be worse than it looks in a photo. I flew to Albury to find out mine had some stone chips that just took the shine off the glossy photos. (I have the problem now that I am selling it that I talk it down) However, looking at yours for the price you got it, and a two seater with the same owner for 22 years, its a great buy. I am jealous. PS. Mine still has the front undertray too!!!
