  1. It's me again! Did a sprint with the WRX group last Saturday at Sandown, some in car with GPS data of my best lap, a 1:19.89. This time in HD. cheers, Sinisha
  2. Thanks for the compliments gents, but there is one bit of footage that could change your minds. On one of the runs I ran out of talent and went off at turn 2, no damage (except the dry cleaning bill). If there is enough interest I can post it as well. cheers, Sinisha
  3. It's me again, Vid is of me at Phillip Island doing my PB 1:48.4, there is a GPS data overlay as well. cheers, Sinisha
  4. Hi John, Yes that VZ is a serious bit of gear! Here is the vid, resolution a bit low, might have to post a better one later.
  5. Hi Gareth, I really can't say as I also have an under tray with diffuser under the front which made a lot of difference. But, I think that a gnose and spoiler will work much better than what you had before. Thanks Peter, My goal today was to get a 1:48 something which happened in the first session, then I seemed to go backwards, 1:49.0. Maybe I was starting to overdrive the car and went slower, don't know?
  6. Did a sprint at Phillip Island today with the Skyline & WRX group, great day weather wise. Managed to do a PB 1:48.4, was very happy with the time. Have got video and GPS data for the lap will post it later. cheers, Sinisha
  7. Have been playing with my GPS track data from my Trackmaster Android app, did an overlay of a lap on the previous video showing speed and position. cheers, Sinisha
  8. Had a great time today, did heaps of laps and best of all set a PB, 1:19.8! Very happy! cheers, Sinisha
  9. I spoke with Steve today and asked if I could enter on the day, his response was "send your entry in today and I should get it by Friday". So I did, see you all on Saturday.
  10. I have the full set of TTT suspension bits, have had no problems with the rear control arms. before I purchased the rear control arms I contacted TTT and asked them about the strength of their product and this is the response I got. "We have tested these on cars up to 700HP and more (many of our customers are from HybridZ and run crazy HP swaps). They've been used in all sorts of racing from the Nurburgring to the 25 Hours of ThunderHill Endurance race (the longest endurance race here in the USA). They have also been run on a Z in the East African Rally. We've sold over 200 sets of them in the last 2 years, and have had zero failures and zero hint's of problems with them. They will not give you an problems!" Sinisha
  11. From what I understand the measurement is done at 30 metres from the track, this means your car can be about 104dB at one metre.
  12. Gareth, I have a set of easyouts? (I think they're called that) you drill a hole and then these screw in in reverse and allow you to extract the broken stud. You can borrow them if you wish. cheers, Sinisha
  13. Just sent my entry form in. Might have some new tyres on the car by then, see if I can do a PB
  14. Can't really say how much difference it made at the Island as I haven't raced there for 8 years!! Have to say, what an awesome track! But, I can say that at Sandown I have dropped about a second a lap. I think it is mostly due to better rear grip. 260DET, I have attached a few pics of the front diffuser, this has made a BIG difference to the front grip on my car. cheers, Sinisha
  15. Sadly I won't be able to make it tonight. :'( Hope you all have a great time and I will see at the next one. cheers, Sinisha
  16. Sent my form in today. Thanks for the early warning Ash.
  17. Does anyone have the entry forms for the above sprint? If so, please PM me and I will give you my email address. cheers, Sinisha
  18. Hey Scott, I've got some tyres you might be interested in, see link. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,9207.msg88842.html#new cheers, Sinisha
  19. I am looking at selling a set of four of the above tyres, average tread depth 4mm. Nice and even wear across tyre, no damage or flat spots. Location Melbourne, see link for info. http://samotorsporttyres.com.au/silverstone/ftz-type-rr price $450 (price negotiable) cheers, Sinisha
  20. Hi Peter, I was really looking forward to seeing your car on the track in turbo guise. Now, I'm guessing that "NC" isn't an acronym for naturally compressed but the initials of an elderly gentleman who is a bit of a legend in the Zed racing fraternity! cheers, Sinisha
  21. To be honest John I don't know how much of an impact it has had on lap times. But I can say the balance of the car has improved through the faster corners and I think that Phillip Island is a track where the effect of the diffuser will be felt most. Anyway, I think it looks cool!
  22. Those wipers are a real distraction! I took them off after that.
  23. At the recent driver training day at Sandown I used my phone to shoot some video of the Zed in action. In it you will see my GPS speedo and the shift light. This was the first session. cheers, Sinisha
  24. I have some video of the first session, in it you can see my GPS speedo and the shift light.
