Would you be interested in separating the rear lower control arms? If so how much?

I will take some pics tomorrow. Clearance with strut/spring no problems, rear guards very tight, I'm in the process of rolling the rear guards to get some clearance. All this is with a Bridgestone 235/45 which is actually about 240mm wide on the 8.5" rim. cheers, Sinisha

Zedevan, the tank has a small surge bowl which feeds into a filter then a Carter lift pump, this feeds a 2 litre surge tank that goes in to a Bosch 600HP pump. The last time I ran down the 1/4 mile I had about 220 RWkW and did a 11.76@120MPH. Dimitri, thanks for the offer but I can't make it to Calder, maybe next Sandown. Stevo_gj, I have had the car for about 18 years, the RB26 was installed 10 years ago. Here are a couple of pics.

Recently I replaced my old Gibson group A turbos with a pair Garrett ball bearing -7 turbos. In the process I updated my intake plumbing and fitted a new 3.5in mandrel bent exhaust with a 3in straight through Magnaflow muffler. The exhaust was made at Mufflers and More on High St. Ashburton (conveniently just at the end of my street). I was very happy with the work of Glen (a Zed owner and enthusiast). Had the car dynoed on Tuesday and am very happy with the result, 320.5kW ATW. The car made more power at a lower boost and on 98 octane fuel not the 100 octane Shell VPower Racing which was a very good fuel but no longer available. Previously the engine made 307kW ATW on same dyno.(Racepace in Bayswater).

I don't get it! How is that going to improve my lap times?

The black zed in question had a turbo Hemi 265, it was owned by Harry Kojima. He raced it in Targa Tassie and had a off damaging the front of the car, at the time he couldn't find a G-nose to replace the smashed one so he took a copy of mine. The last I heard of Harry he had a ex Haddad drag 260Z(tubbed big 9" diff full cage) and put a Gibson RB26 on methanol in it. cheers, Sinisha
