  1. I can't say for others , but I sold my project 260Z for a sound reason. I don't think all the Zeds on the market atm are being sold just because the prices have gone up. It's not 'Black & Whilte' reasons that make people sell up - more shades of Gray. Everyone has their own & I'm sure most are all perfectly reasonable. I also agree that we are hearing about them more due to the prolification of the Intraweb.
  2. Has someone placed bollards around the toilets so Gerhard doesn't run into them again?
  3. Looks like a nice 240. Can you please post up some more detailed pics at your earliest convenience? And is it an Auto or Manual?
  4. You Better! *shakes fist*
  5. Welcome. Don't tug Mr Camouflage's hair - it makes him unhappy in his pants.
  6. Why do you want to drive something that's 'slower' mate? :S
  7. If I had PayPal Gav, I'd throw a lot more $ the site's way. There has to be another way to donate as PayPal is a PITA to setup...
  8. In hindsight that was a poor choice of words on my part Geoff, so my apologies. However, Zed owner such as Vince & yourself are the exception, rather than the rule. I don't know of many other Zed owners from either SZC or NDSOC that have a genuine interest in other Datsun Models, apart from Zeds...
  9. Call Rob @ Robco Engineering...
  10. Mark, they are all the same, across the Z models...
  11. This has just poped up on Ozdat: http://www.ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21506&p=172184#p172184 The short sightedness of the Sydney Z Club is just amazing...
  12. I've been waiting for all the interior shots to be posted & I gotta Say mate - it just looks AWESOME. The contrast between the Black & Yell... err, Orange really makes it all 'jump'
  13. Sorry, forgot to ask on the phone - pickup next Saturday or the Saturday after that?
  14. SOLD. Thanks to everyone for your interest
  15. I'll now be home all of this weekend (10th/11th), so if anyone wishes to view the Zed please contact me on the above number. Cheers.
  16. More photo's have been added as people wanted to know about any other area's on the body than may need attention.
  17. Hi All, Due to changes in my current circumstances, I am ceasing all of my operations immediately. I would like to thank everyone, who used my services, for your custom - it's was greatly appreciated & enjoyed. My sincere apologies to everyone else who had expressed interest in having work done by myself, but at this time they cannot be fulfilled. Regards, Lurch.
  18. So much for needing flares, Dave Looks awesome!
  19. Hahaha... Hahahahaha! Famous last words?!
  20. You can get a 9" rim under the back of a Zed with coil-overs & lipped guards, Rich. So that means a 225 or 235 can fit.
  21. I had a local machine shop Mill out the centre to to 86(?)mm Dia. for me, (you could possibly do this carefully with a plasma cutter or die grinder if your mad enough) then I simply used the old drum brake backing plate as a template to get the mounting hole PCD correct. I also drilled the holes out 0.5mm larger than needed, to give me room if the holes didn't go EXACTLY in the right spot. I also had to cut back some of the 'lip' on the back of the bracket to clear the hub casting. Just be patent & keep measuring/checking!
  22. Congrats on the new Pooping machine Tim With the R31 setup, you just use the R31 rotors as well. As for the bracket, here is how you have to modifiy them. I made these as a left & a right pair, the hub has to be enlarged to suit the Z hub Dia. & the mounting holes have to be redrilled to a larger PCD. Photo's speak a thousand words... Oh & BTW, there's more Zed wrangling going on atm, than I care to mention...
  23. Just go speak to Rob at Robco Eng. He'll sort you out
