    Saw one in a british car mag a last october, Retro Cars. Was a white one with imsa style flares. http://www.retrocarsmag.com/pastissue.asp?issueID=7 Had a bit of a search on hybridz.org, but it seems most people go for the single cam turbo (VG30ET) instead of the dual cam, as its cheap (in the USA) and easier to make it fit, or they just drop a V8 in them.

    Was it the drivers side that doesn't fit properly? Mines the same, from a local Perth supplier. If I had to guess, I'd say lots of shops copied them for their molds, so they all aren't the best fit.

    Its a pity they are using all American cars in the new transformer movies. a 370Z or a GT-R would have been good. Prowl was the name of the s130 police car in the original.

    Here's a tip for the cartoonie ones I posted above. If you stretch the image in a graphics program to more standard dimensions they look more realistic.

    Got one of my 240's from a factory unit. The guy that owned it was using it for storage and has all sorts of cars and junk there like some honda Z's (and an MG-A i think, was a while ago now). He needed to clear it out, so I bought the 240 off him. He had another 240Z out on a property somewhere, it was HS30-00240. He said it was really rusty, and probably not worth restoring. The one I bought is also rusty, but fixable.

    No roadworthy certs required in WA. If its still registered, you just pay the changeover and keep driving it, even if its a rusted out bomb. Have a look at it and check for rust under the carpets and in the sills.

    Sounds like the fella the autospeed article was about a few years ago. He had about 20+ Zeds in a couple of sheds and some in the paddock.

    Wow, crazy stuff. The best thing to do in that sort of situation, if anyone finds themselves in one, is to drive straight to the nearest police station, instead of trying to outrun someone, park your car and go inside. The crazy people tend to not want anything to do with the police.
