Ballan is about an hours drive from my place however I do go past there a few times a year for work. I think my next trip is in late August however I'd be driving past during the day which might not help but worth dropping in to leave him a note on the door if he is'nt home. Carlos I'm not sure how much those flares stick out from the original but my guess is they would be very similar to ZG flares. I have mounted a 17x9.5" wide rim with -19 offset fo rthe rear and 17x8.5" -6 for the front works well enough with stock spring perch. What is the size and offset of the current wheels? Maybe you could work out how much room you have to work with based on that? Have you got any pics of the interior, specially the gauges installed? Sulio

Well I don't mind this kit, the cars looks very neat. I saw the same one last week at Don Hills place. He has a track car with this kit on it. The wider the tyres the better the kit looks. Of coarse each to their own but if I had this kit on my car I'd go for wheels like these. Carlos pardon the dodgy photoshop, I hope you don't mind.

hmm...steel wheels in chrome look a bit cheap n cheesy in my books. I'd rather run clean black steel rims if you want just the rim. Go the Superlites, I had a set on my car some time ago, pic below:

i voted for the 260 rims seeing you have them but the 15x7 Superlites made by Performance wheels are a cost effective and popular local wheel that is period correct as far as looks go. you can get em new for about 220ish a wheel. very similar to the Wats shown above. sulio

Having you got the original flat top 260 carbs? I swapped them for the 240 round tops and they have run great for years.

Hi guys, It's the stock lime green pretty sure same as Scandos or close to it. I think Datsun colour 112 from memory. These are all the pics I could find on the car but yer the green looks sexy. Reminds me of the cool colours some of the Porsches came out in back in the early 70's. That purple Z not really my cup of tea pretty much all the reasons Gav mentioned but if it sat a little lower it wouold score more points with me. SUlio

Can't you take the barrel or door lock to a lock smith and get a key made up. I'm pretty sure it's about $90ish dollars to do it but saves you alot of headaches,.

UPDATE ON CRUISE ROUTE It has been pointed out to me that one of the roads in the original map that cuts across Beech Forrest is actually a FWD track and to go further Nth and come back down might make it too big a drive for some. For that reason we have decided stay on the Great Ocean Road and drive straight through Apollo Bay to Lavers Hill and back to Apollo Bay for the evening. This is the route the NDSOC took recently and I've been assured its an incredible drive. Once back in Apollo Bay anyone that has the energy can go for a drive Nth from Skene Creek to Forrest and back to AB for dinner can do so. I think this would be about a 1.0 to 1.5 hr return drive and we would want to be back by dark. I'm sure there will be a group interested I hope to be one of them! I have posted a new map below: Meeting Point West Gate Bridge out bound petrol station 10am, depart 10:30am sharp! Melb to Lorne 130km (1 hr 36 min) Lunch in Lorne 1hr Lorne to Apollo Bay 49km (40 min) Rest in Apollo Bay Apollo Bay to Lavers Hill (48km 39min) Break in LH 30 min Lavers Hill to Apollo Bay (48km 39min) Finish My calculations are we would be back from Lavers Hill to Apollo Bay at about 4pm. At this point some might want to drive to Forrest and surrounding areas for a squirt before dinner.
