  3. yer i used to have them on my car. 15x7 easy fit up to 225x55 on the back, 205x65 front tyres goes nicley re rolling diameter as per thread above.
  4. I also had a really good time. The roads are pretty good up there and scenary amazing. Great Hotel choice Craig. Will post some pics here soon but Dale is writing an artical on the whole trip that will be posted on the front with photos. I'll try and have the video up in the next week or so. Sulio
  5. Cool, sounds like all is set. I picked up a 5 Watt UHF programmable 99 channel cb & scanner in one with the loose external mic for $150.00. I've set all the 1 to 40 cb channels. Looking forward to trying it out tommorrow. Sulio
  6. Very nice Mike. Thats gonna be one tough looking Z when all done.
  7. Yer you do see it on a lot of those cars but I like it. Hmmm...If I ever come across a decent bonnet I might snap it up and have spare bonnet I can bolt on when I feel like a change.
  8. My search for a Z started when I saw a blue 2 seater 260z at Albert Park. It was driving in front of me and I was soon looking at them on the net. Took a while to find one that was a good fit for my plans.
  9. Hey a bit late now but I reckon black bonnet would look pretty good with that colour. Similar to this one below!
  10. Ah cool Kyle. So will you have them on for the Bulla trip, actually are you coming?
  11. Next meeting will be 5/12/07.
  12. Yer before I bought my wheels and installed my flares I did quite a bit of research and found that wide 16 inch tyres are very limited and your often paying top dollar when you do find the right size. Thats why I decided to go for a 17 inch rim. I find they look good and tyre options are plentiful. Sulio
  13. depends on the look you want ie stretched or not as i've noticed a lot of the jap cars with zg's have that stretched look with with the rim size you have mentioned. I'm pretty sure the tyre combo is usually 225 front and 245 rear. can't remember profile but most likely 225/50's with 245/45's. sulio
  14. looking good Lurch. Did you have those wheels on there before the paint? they look like a nice fit. Sulio
  15. Hi Craig, You'll find quite a few RB conerted Z's on this forum. Good to hear from you, welcome to the site. I sold the Z you have to Nate some time ago now. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Cheers, Sulio

  17. Thanks Van. Hey they came up really good! Ah I'll have to stick em in my gallery get something fresh to come up on the front page. Too many photos of my car round here, people prolly sick of seeing it! :-\ Sulio
  18. Hey Fufu, I'm in Kensington as is WarrenZ. There are a few of us in the area. There is also a blue 2 seater 260 in the Moonee Ponds area on Browning st which looks like someone is about to start restoring as it has a door skin sitting in the rear. I ride my bike past that one quite a bit hoping to bump into the owner for a chat on his plans. Anyway looking forward to seeing the pics of your car. Cheers, Sulio
  19. I have them ready to bolt on but not going to put em on until after the November cruise. Hey Modular I can't remember your location but if your in Vic I can lend you the HOW TO TUNE DELLS AND WEBERS book I have, can't remember the authors name but it is very handy. Cheers, Sulio
  20. Welcome Fufu, RB's conversions are becoming more common place with the S30's. There is a member on this forum selling a 260 2 seater with an RB30 turbo located in WA, be worth a look. Sulio
  21. Welcome to the forums. You gotta get some pics up for us all to see. Sulio
  22. I'm pretty sure all you need is a set of feeler gauges and some spanners. My haynes manual has the clearances but I've lent it to Quan.
  23. I think the there is a P90A head on some L28's that had hydraulic lifters, not on any standard L26 motors though. Does it sound like noisy tappets?
  24. Ah looks like we are on track. Sco_aus if things change there is a spare seat in my car. Cheers, Sulio
