  1. Hey Herrods, We have a section dedicated for each state for exactly this sort of thing, ie cruise and BBQ's in your particular area. Have a read of this thread. It would be good tyo have someone in Sydeny to arrange the occasional cruise via the site and maybe post photos afterwoulds like we do in Vic. Read this thread when you get a chance. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=1915.0 oh and section in the forums for each state's events and announcements http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?board=108.0
  2. ah is that the 200zr 2 seater from Japan recently advertised!???
  3. ...wanted to bring this thread back from the dead when I saw this car.
  4. Cool, I'll have to remember that for the next cruise, we could meet up locally and drive out to the meeting point. Fufu, how far5 away is your car from being on the road?
  5. Hi Mango, Welcome, I'm in Kensington. Did'nt know there were any other local Z's about other than WarrenZ? Cheers, Sulio

There's a few carb choices, ie Webers, Dellortos, Mikuni, Solex. Have a look on E-bay. You'll also need a manifold, linkage kit, adapters etc, velocity stacks and filters. You can find used complete sets ready to bolt on, (which will most likely need some fine tuning re jets, chokes etc depending on your set up, it will most likley add up to well over the purchase costs re tuning from what I'[ve been told however I'm yet to bolt mine on). Used set any where from $900 to $1600 depending on condition and size ie 40mm or 45mm. Use the search functions and look in carbs section as there quite a bit in there with links. Cheers, Sulio
  7. ...hmmm. Lurch have the details for the Tassy tour been posted on the forums? I did a quick check and failed to find anything. From memory Craig mentioned one year they had about 60 cars on this same event so he might have used the same list of e-mails to contact people directly and keep it low key!? Sulio
  8. Hi Zedman, I ended picking up a Link Kit. Hoping to bolt the tripples on in the coming weeks now that last Saturdays cruise is behind us. Thanks, Sulio
  9. Yer Evan I think the main focus of this particular cruise was for all the people that have signed up for the Tassy cruise in Feb 08, oh and what a week long of excellent driving that will be. Unfortunatley I can't make it this year but I'm sure we'll get to see the pics. Sulio
  10. There few in this thread... http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=788.0
  11. ...and finishing at Gordons place
  12. Hi Guys, Some pics of todays cruise of various Nissans organised by Craig in the Mt Dandenong area east of Melbourne. Fantastic driving with everybody dropping in for a BBQ and chat at Craigs brothers spacious place, Gordon, for a BBQ and chat. Sorry did'nt get many pics of the windy stuff as my hands were firmly on the wheel at all times. These first pics are some of the cars at the meeting point in Lilydale.
  13. Welcome Rhino73, Welcome, seems to be a few coming out of the woodwork lately. Good to see. Nice car. Get some pics going in the galleries if you get a chance! Cheers, Sulio

  16. The 260 box is meant to have great ratios for better acceleration when coupled with the right gearing in your diff. I have a 74 260 and my gearbox had worn synchro's. Changed it for a 280 box and could'nt notice that much of a difference, really happy with the 280 box.
  17. Hi Pauly, Well thats fine if there are a few cars in that area we can certainly post info on any intended cruises however it would be hard to create any further sections in the forums for all the areas in between Capital cities and states so as I said by all means use the forums to advise of cruises in your area. However we need people close to their respectibe state capital as most members would tend to be in the metro regions of their respective states. Cheers, Sulio
  18. As Gav sort of said, we are not trying to compete with other Z sites rather work with them if we can. If your'e attending existing Z cruises in your state it might just be a matter of informing us and we can include/promote it on our calendar also and at least it can also keep other Z owners in your state informed just in case they are not aware of the event. I suppose at the end of the day it's just more Z owners getting together for a cruise and our aim is to get like minded Z owners together, not compete with other Z clubs. So in saying that I still think it would be well worth having a bloke in each state. sco_aus: OK we have a taker in Canberra, ( sorry I forgot about ACT) Scott, well there you go 3 Z's on cruise is a pretty good start I reckon. Gav will be in touch re moderators rights for the ACT section of forums. You can advise us of any cruise dates and we will update the events calendar as we go. As oldmates260z said there are'nt enough cruises but if you get out there on a regular basis I'm sure you'll find a few owners coing out of the wood work. Current state Z moderators/events managers are: ACT: member: sco_aus (Scott) NSW: TBA SA: TBA QLD: TBA WA: TBA NT: TBA TAS: TBA Any other members please advise if you're interested? Cheers, Sulio
  19. Hi Guys, We've had some really good cruises and events like BBQ's in Victoria. There are quite a few blokes on this forum that are always eager to organise these events including myself. Although the name Viczcar suggests a Victorian based site (which it certainly is not) we have grown to have many members from all states and in hind site should have called it AusZcar.com, still something we are considering but that's another story. We would really like to encourage other states memebers to get together and have been thinking it might just be a matter of having an intersted member from each state volunteer to be in charge of organising an occasional event like a cruise every so often by posting info on the site and posting any pics afterwoulds, nothing too complicated. We already have a section for each state in the forums ready to go so it would just be a matter of posting times and dates as we do in Vic from time to time, then just post some pics and tell us all about the day!? If you are interested in being the viczcar guy for your state please reply to this thread and we will try to help out with posting maps etc that might assist!? Victoria is already sorted so we still have NSW, QLD, WA, SA and NT. Any takers?
  20. Gav must be homesick reading through old thread by candle light during one of those cold Irish winter nights
  21. Thanks Warren, alot of people miss that one! Sulio
  22. I spoke to Simon a few minutes ago. I believe we will be able to feature his car in the coming months which is something I'm really looking forward to reading. Cheers, SUlio
